  • Dragon Age 4 Reportedly Not Being Released Until at Least 2021

Though BioWare has plans to announce something Dragon Age-related this month, it appears the next Dragon Age game is still at least a few years away from being released.

Reported by VentureBeat, sources familiar with BioWare claim that the game is still in the early stages of development, saying that the studio and EA have yet to decide on a name for the upcoming title. However, it appears a final name could be decided on prior to a possible reveal at The Game Awards on Thursday.

The game was reportedly put in stasis as BioWare had allegedly shelved the game momentarily to focus on Anthem. However, official comments from the studio indicate that BioWare actively has teams working on both Dragon Age and Mass Effect games alongside Anthem.

  • Captain Marvel's Skrull Villains Explained

2019’s Captain Marvel movie will include several firsts for the MCU, like being set in the ’90s and featuring a two-eyed Nick Fury. Perhaps the most notable new development, however, is the inclusion of the Skrulls as the main villains of the film. One Avenger against an entire cosmic empire? We like those odds.

Ben Mendelsohn (Rogue One) will play the Skrull leader, Talos, in the highly anticipated Brie Larson film. But who are the Skrulls, and why do they have such a bone to pick with Captain Marvel? Let’s break down everything you need to know about this troublesome group of Marvel aliens. (Also be sure to read about how Marvel Studios can even use the Skrulls, who were long believed to fall under 20th Century Fox’s domain as far as their film rights.)

  • Rockstar 'Does Not Have Plans' to Reset Progress Following Red Dead Online Beta

Rockstar Games has clarified earlier comments that some Red Dead Online progress from the beta might not carry over to the final game, saying there are not any plans to reset rank or stats progression.

Rockstar said the following in an official comment: “We appreciate all the continued feedback we are receiving on the Red Dead Online Beta. For players concerned about the potential for progress and stat resets, we currently do not have any plans to reset them as part of the Beta’s rollout. We are currently still working on game stability and economy balancing for an update that we hope to release later this week. Please stay tuned for more news to come.”

This follows a previous blogpost from Rockstar, where the studio said “As with many betas for large scale online experiences such as this, there is always the chance that we may need to implement rank or other stat resets in case of issues.”

Crash Team Racing Remaster Teased for The Game Awards

If a pair of fuzzy dice and a brief note are anything to go off of, it appears CTR: Crash Team Racing is primed for a reveal at The Game Awards.

IGN received a large, orange pair of fuzzy dice (reminiscent of Crash himself) in the mail, along with a note that reads: “Sliding into the Game Awards on 12/6… – Anonymous.” One of the die only has a six on it, while the other has the standard one-six. Combined, it adds up to a six and a 21, perhaps hinting at a Friday, June 21 (6/21) release date.

  • Tips and Tricks for Playing Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden

Tips and Tricks for Playing Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden

Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden is now available on Xbox One and Xbox Game Pass! It is a tactical adventure game, with turn-based combat and real-time exploration of a post-apocalyptic world.

You control a team of mutants, exploring a world destroyed by nuclear war, pandemics and climate change. You may recognize several of the elements of the tactical combat from games like XCOM – for example, every character has two actions per turn (like moving and shooting), you can use cover to your advantage and overwatch when the enemy runs towards your team.

But Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden also has many new sets of challenges, and here are some tips on how to overcome them and survive in the brutal environment of our destroyed earth:

Use stealth:  Be sure to use stealth to your advantage. Don’t attack your enemies head-on, instead sneak around their camp and look for isolated targets. If you use silent weapons you can take these out before the rest of the group gets alerted. If you don’t use stealth your team will quickly be completely overrun in combat.

Choose your battleground: When the moment has come to take on large groups of enemies you should try to find a good spot to spring your ambush. Having good coverage is an obvious advantage but being able to put one or two of your mutants on high-ground gives invaluable bonuses.

Make the most out of your mutations: As you level up you unlock more and more mutations for your team. These can be either active abilities or passive bonuses and you should try finding good strategies for powerful combinations. Mutations allow your mutants to do spectacular things, like develop stoneskin, grow moth wings, control the minds of your enemies or snare them with grasping roots.

Scour the Zone for resources: Search each map diligently for scrap and weapon parts as these valuable resources are sought after in your home base called the Ark. Scrap is like currency and can be used to buy useful things like grenades, and med-kits. You can use the weapon parts you find to upgrade your weapons, but also remember that you can break down old weapons to get them.

Visit the Ark regularly: Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden is not a mission-based game, instead you explore each unlocked map exactly as you want. It is however smart to check back in with you the people at the Ark from time to time. The Elder might have new and useful information for you, new items may have been unlocked in the shop and you may hand in artifacts to Pripp’s bar for team-wide bonuses.
