  • Watch Conan O'Brien Train With Wonder Woman In This Silly Video

To promote the new movie Wonder Woman, comedian and late night TV host Conan O’Brien trained with the film’s star, Gal Gadot for a silly segment for his show.

Gadot trained for sixth months to prepare for her leading role Wonder Woman, but O’Brien wanted to get in shape much faster than that. You can probably imagine where this video goes… O’Brien asks Gadot at one point if he could be her love interest in a sequel, and with the magic of video editing, it looks like it’s going to happen (it is not going to happen).

Gadot served in the actual Israeli army, so O’Brien–who declares himself a Girl Scout in the video–really never stood a chance.

Early box office predictions suggest that Wonder Woman will have a solid opening weekend, with a take of at least $65 million in its first three days. While this is well below the openings for previous DC movies Suicide Squad ($133 million) and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice ($166 million), it is in line with the debut for such Marvel films as Captain America: The First Avenger ($65 million) and Ant-Man ($57.2 million).

In other news, a new poster for Wonder Woman has been released showing the character hoisting a tank over her head. For lots more on Wonder Woman, which opens on June 2, check out GameSpot’s roundup feature, “Everything We Know About The Wonder Woman Movie.”

GameStop Has Sold More Copies Of Zelda For Switch Than Switch Consoles

As part of GameStop’s latest earnings report today, the retailer said overall software sales dropped year-over-year, but there was one nice positive: The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

During a call with investors, management revealed that it sold more than one copy of the game’s Switch version for every Switch console it sold.

“The bright spot within software was that we sold more than one copy of the Switch version of Zelda for every Switch console we sold, indicating that consumers are coming to GameStop for additional games and accessories,” the company explained.

For GameStop’s first quarter ended April 29, new software sales dropped 8.2 percent due to a tough comparison last year, when Ubisoft’s record-breaking The Division was released.

  • Play All Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3's Multiplayer DLC For Free On PC Next Month

If you’ve been wanting to try out some of Black Ops 3‘s multiplayer DLC, then June might be a good time to dip back in: the title’s four multiplayer map packs are going free on PC for most of the month.

Starting May 30 at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET / 6 PM BST, Black Ops 3’s four multiplayer map add-ons–Awakening, Eclipse, Descent, and Salvation–will be included in regular playlists and playable for free for everyone for 30 days. That means a total of 16 extra maps will be playable, on top of the base game’s 12.

Players who already own the DLC packs will receive double XP when playing on maps you previously bought (not including the base game’s arenas), and if you own the Season Pass then you’ll get double XP on all multiplayer maps.

The maps will be downloaded automatically for PC Black Ops 3 owners as part of the Multiplayer DLC Trial Pack–find out how to stop the download here if you don’t want to install the added content. Although publisher Activision does not state a definitive end time in its blog post, it does say the trial will last 30 days, which would mean the free access will end on June 29. No potential PS4, PS3, Xbox One, or Xbox 360 versions of the trial were mentioned.

The trial doesn’t include any of the Zombies maps included in the four previous expansions, or the Zombies Chronicles DLC pack, which was released on PS4 last week. In our review, critic Kallie Plagge said the expansion makes Zombies mode “feel creepier, more tense, and more exhilarating than ever.” Read more in our full Black Ops 3 Zombies Chronicles Review.

This year’s Call of Duty game is called WWII, and you can check out everything we know about it so far here.

  • New Spider-Man: Homecoming Poster Is Star Studded Hot Mess

New Spider-Man: Homecoming Poster Is Star Studded Hot Mess

The latest trailer for Marvel’s upcoming Spider-Man: Homecoming was released earlier today, and it has now been joined by a new poster. It’s very much in the “floating head” style of modern movie posters–a chaotic mess of people looking in different directions, with little sense of what the film will deliver. But it gets the film’s big stars and iconic characters on there, which is presumably the whole point–check it out below:

    No Caption Provided

The film opens on July 7 and stars Tom Holland, Michael Keaton, Robert Downey Jr, Marisa Tomei, and Donald Glover. In a recent interview, director Jon Watts spoke about how Homecoming would differ from the various Spider-Man movies that have preceded it.

“I think it has a unique, surprising tone that’s different from the others, and different from the other movies in this universe,” he said. “I’m pretty proud of the tone we struck. It’s fun. It’s able to go from a very small story, and really emotional small stakes and just get bigger and bigger until it’s on a massive scale without ever losing sight of the story we were trying to tell.”

A new Spider-Man game is also in development for PlayStation 4, made by Ratchet & Clank developer Insomniac Games. A release date hasn’t been announced, but we know it won’t follow Homecoming‘s story.

  • Nintendo Switch Fighter Arms' File Size Revealed

Nintendo Switch Fighter Arms' File Size Revealed

The digital version of Nintendo’s upcoming fighting game, Arms, will take up less space on your Switch than you might think. According to a screengrab of the game’s store listing from Reddit user aftheblackguy, the brawler weighs in at just 2.2 GB.

This is for the UK version of the title, but US and Australian versions will likely be similar to that figure. Take a look at the screengrab below.

    No Caption Provided

The figure means purchasing Arms digitally will take up around 7% of your Switch’s internal memory. By comparison, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild takes up 13.4 GB (about 42%) on Switch, while Mario Kart 8 Deluxe comes in at 6.75 GB (approximately 21%). If you’re already struggling for space on your Switch, you’ll be glad to hear the device supports memory cards of up to 2 TB. Check out our list of the best micro SD cards for the Nintendo Switch, and take a look at the file sizes for a bunch of other Switch games.

In other Arms news, a new Japanese trailer was recently revealed, showing off the game’s different control schemes, characters, and game modes. Take a look at that here.

If you can’t wait to try Arms for yourself, you don’t have long to wait. A free demo–or “Global Testpunch,” as Nintendo is calling it–is coming, starting this weekend. The full game, meanwhile, launches for Nintendo Switch on June 16–take a look at our recent Arms preview for more.

  • PlayStation Store Now Has Developer Curated Recommendations

Sony has introduced a new section to the PlayStation Store where developers and other notable industry figures provide curated game recommendations.

“The Creators,” as it’s being called, currently features names such as PlayStation Worldwide Studios president Shuhei Yoshida, Media Molecule’s studio director Siobhan Reddy, and Street Fighter executive producer Yoshinori Ono.

Of course, most of the people featured in The Creators recommend their own games and the whole thing feels more like a new way to present a promotional sale, but it will be interesting to see if Sony builds on the idea and continues to have curated lists on the store. As of yet it’s unclear whether this section will remain on the store or is available for a limited time.

Currently, The Creators section is only available on the US PlayStation Store. It’s unclear whether it will also appear in other territories. You can take a look at all the curators featured in the section below.

  • Watch The New Spider-Man: Homecoming Trailer

A new trailer for Spider-Man: Homecoming has arrived.

The video shows off Tom Holland as Spider-Man as he grows in confidence with his abilities. In one sequence, he helps an elderly lady and gets a churro as a reward, which is nice. There is a pretty dramatic scene in Washington, D.C., while we also see some of Michael Keaton’s evil Vulture and Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark/Iron Man/Spider-Man’s mentor.

The film premieres on July 7 and also stars Marisa Tomei, and Donald Glover. It’s directed by Cop Car‘s Jon Watts, who said recently that the film has a “unique, surprising” tone that will set it apart from the films that came before it.

A new Spider-Man game is in development for PlayStation 4, made by Ratchet & Clank developer Insomniac Games. A release date hasn’t been announced, but we know it won’t follow Homecoming‘s story.

Square Enix has announced that a new update is coming to Final Fantasy XV this week and revealed what’s in it. Due out on May 24, the new update will adds “Stinky Tofu with a Mellow Flavor” to Ignis’ cuisine options. This comes to the game following a survey in Taiwan where fans asked for it.

  • Star Wars: The Last Jedi — Finn Is A “Big Deal,” Actor Says

In Star Wars: The Force Awakens, the character Finn told Han Solo that he’s a “big deal” in the Resistance. He wasn’t telling the truth at the time, but it seems that in this year’s The Last Jedi, Finn is finally indeed a bonafide “big deal.”

“The funny thing is, between VII and VIII, Finn’s now a big deal! He is now a big deal,” actor John Boyega told Entertainment Weekly.

At the end of The Force Awakens, Finn fights heroically to take down the Starkiller Base before getting seriously injured at the hands of Kylo Ren. All of this is to say, Finn is finally the man of the hour.

“Think about what the gossip’s going to be like in the Resistance: ‘Oh, that’s the guy that got slashed down by Kylo?’” Boyega said. “Finn’s a big deal.”

When we first see Finn in The Last Jedi, he’s going to be struggling, still recovering from what happened in The Last Jedi. “There’s some additional few things that need to be done to make him mobile. He’s definitely in a place where he needs some help,” Boyega said.

The actor went on to say that the injury he sustained from Ren was a “grounding injury,” pointing out that a lightsaber cut burns the skins and cells (“it’s not just a piece of flame that whacks your body,” he said). But Finn does recover and “when he does… oh, he does,” Boyega said.

Finally, Boyega revealed that Finn will spend a lot of time in The Last Jedi on an adventure with the character Rose, who is played by Kelly Marie Tran.

The first trailer for The Last Jedi was released in April–watch it here. You can also check out the stylish first poster, while new cast images were revealed today in Vanity Fair.

The Last Jedi stars Daisy Ridley, Mark Hamill, Adam Driver, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Laura Dern, Domhnall Gleeson, Carrie Fisher, Anthony Daniels, Gwendoline Christie, and Andy Serkis. It hits theaters on December 15, 2017.
