  • Get Red Dead Redemption 2 on PC for $44 in Green Man Gaming’s Black Friday sale

PC players waited a year for Red Dead Redemption 2 to come to PC. If you decided to wait another month, you can now get Rockstar’s open world epic Western for 26% off at Green Man Gaming in their Black Friday sale. If you’re in the US, that’s $44.15, or £40.17 in the UK. You’ll have to use it on Rockstar’s own game launcher rather than with an existing client like Steam, but it’s way below the $59.99 Rockstar charges for it directly.

That’s enough game to last you for the next few months. And this discount has come at just the right time: this week, Rockstar patched RDR2 on PC to remove most of its outstanding technical issues. This is the only version of the game that supports frame rates above 30fps. If you’ve got the hardware, that is.

Next up, get excellent Obsidian RPG The Outer Worlds on PC for $40.49. Note it has to be redeemed on the Epic Games Store, if you’re waiting for a Steam release after the exclusivity period has ended (you can also play it on Game Pass for PC, FYI).

The other highlight from the Green Man Gaming sale is Borderlands 3, although this again is the Epic Games Store version, in case you wanted to wait until the Steam release next September.

Check out the rest of the Black Friday deals over at Green Man Gaming, and see if anything else looks like a winner.

  • Hurry! The Apple AirPods Pro are back down to their lowest price on Amazon

The Apple AirPods Pro may be less than a month old, but they’ve had a price cut just in time for the Black Friday 2019 sales.

At the time of publishing, you can pick up a pair of the Apple AirPods Pro for $234.98 from Amazon, which includes free shipping. But we recommend you act fast, this deal may not last for long.

Granted this may only be a $15 saving on the original price of the AirPods Pro, but it’s significant given they’re so new. After all, when the original AirPods were released, the biggest discount we saw was a mere $7.

If you’re not sure whether the new AirPods from Apple are for you, then head to our Apple AirPods Pro review to find out why we gave them 4 and a half stars out of 5 – and the damn things finally stay in our ears.

Will we see another saving? Well, it’s unlikely so close to the launch – so while it could happen, we expect things to not go much lower than this.

If you want to check the live prices, our widget below will help you find the best in your region – especially good if you’re not in the US and sad about missing out now…

  • BT’s Black Friday broadband deals have arrived – but can you get better elsewhere?

BT’s Black Friday broadband deals have arrived – but can you get better elsewhere?

One week out from Black Friday and BT has officially gone live with its seasonal sales. So phones, AirPods, SIM only deals with a juicy free gift and, crucially, broadband deals are all included.

In respect to the latter, they’re not half bad. As ever, BT’s best value offer is its Superfast Fibre plan that offers eye-catching 50Mb average speeds, unlimited weekend landline calls and free activation for only £28.99 per month.

In fact, BT has gone and improved this package further by upping the value of its ever-present Reward Card. That is, a pre-paid Mastercard you can spend on pretty much whatever you please in-store or online. It’s now worth a juicy £120, which you can either consider a handy sum of cash as Christmas approaches or an amount to effectively reduce the monthly payments down to less than £25 a month. And its broadband and TV deals that now throw in half-price BT Sport and 6 months free Amazon Prime Video are also tempting.

But before you go ahead and sign up to BT quite yet, just take a moment to consider whether you can get better value elsewhere. Like with any other tech item or service, Black Friday has become a happy hunting ground for people in the UK trying to save on internet bills, too. So keep reading to learn more about BT’s best broadband deal and then scroll even further still to see the best of the rest.

What is a BT Reward Card?

The Reward Card that BT sends out is a pre-paid credit card that you can use anywhere that accepts Mastercard. In short, that’s around a million shops, cafes and restaurants around the world, so you shouldn’t find it difficult to find places to spend, spend, spend.

It’s an old-fashioned chip and pin card, rather than contactless. But do make sure that you claim your Reward Card within three months of installation, otherwise you’ll lose out on all that cash.

  • Persona 5 Royal Release Date Tease Prompts State of Play Speculation

    Calling card.

Persona 5 Royal is already available in Japan, but an announcement for Western territories will be made on 3rd December at 9AM PT. This just so happens to coincide with the 25th Anniversary of PlayStation, prompting fresh speculation that a new State of Play could debut before Christmas. Seeing as a countdown has been added to the popular role-playing game’s website, we think it’s unlikely this particular announcement is connected to Sony’s livestream series.

In reality, publisher Atlus has already confirmed that The Phantom Thieves will return this coming spring in Europe and North America, so expect to mark yet another date in your already-hectic 2020 calendar.

  • Leap Into Adventure and Nature with Tamarin, Coming Soon to Xbox One

    Summary

    • We’re glad to finally announce that Tamarin is coming soon to Xbox One
    • Tamarin embarks on an exciting journey and is thrown into an intense fight for survival to bring back his family
    • Tamarin aims to rekindle the joy and excitement of classic 3D adventures that many people fondly remember

Introducing Tamarin, a new third-person action-adventure that mixes two styles of play. This cute monkey seems harmless, jumping around beautiful Nordic environments, swimming in the fjords, climbing mountains, catching birds. But things go wrong very quickly; The tamarins’ idyllic forest burnt down, his family taken away, and his house destroyed!

    Tamarin

    A World of Surprise

This is when you’ll discover the dual nature of Tamarin; beautiful 3D landscapes such as fjords, mountains, and forests, full of adventure and exploration – contrasted with claustrophobic underground tunnels and industrial factories guarded by an intelligent and powerful insect species. Never content, working in groups and with weapons and tools to do whatever they want. They expand and consume, driving other animals out from where they live. Tamarin embarks on an exciting journey and is thrown into an intense fight for survival to bring back his family!

    Tamarin

    Classic 3D Gameplay

Tamarin aims to rekindle the joy and excitement of classic 3D adventures that many people fondly remember, and which some of our team were part of creating in the past. Tamarin pays tribute to the style and variety of games developed by Rare in the previous decades, from action-filled shooters to 3D platformers with charming animals (you can try some of them in the Rare Replay collection).

    Tamarin

    Leap Into Nature

The natural world is amazing! So many colors and phenomena. This planet has so many astonishing living things that you didn’t even imagine existed. One such species that might have escaped your attention are these adorable small animals called tamarins. Their cool movements are fascinating to watch. Through many years of developing this new 3D explorative adventure, we’ve been aiming to bring this feeling of leaping quickly through the air straight to your fingertips. We’re glad to finally announce that Tamarin is coming soon to Xbox One!
