Learn About the Spirit of Tarzan in Final 'The Legend of Tarzan' Trailer

    The Legend of Tarzan Trailer

“They speak of his power over the animals… Because his spirit came from them, he understood them.” Warner Bros has unleashed one final trailer dubbed the “conquer” trailer for David Yates’ The Legend of Tarzan, which hits theaters next month. We’ve already seen quite a few trailers for this and the more we see, the better it looks. Alexander Skarsgård stars as Tarzan, along with Margot Robbie as Jane, in this new live-action version of the classic story. The full cast includes Christoph Waltz, Samuel L. Jackson, Casper Crump, John Hurt, and Djimon Hounsou. This seems like a much darker, and grittier, more action-packed take on any jungle story than we’ve seen before. And the VFX are looking much better. Enjoy! ›››

Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children Trailer

“You were born to protect us.” Fox has unveiled the first official trailer for Tim Burton’s latest film, Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children, adapted from Ransom Riggs’ best-selling novel of the same name. This film feels a bit like Tim Burton’s X-Men, featuring numerous children with special powers living in a home for the gifted. Eva Green plays Miss Peregrine, who oversees the “home for peculiar children”. Samuel L. Jackson plays the villain known as Barron. This first trailer introduces most of the ensemble cast, including Asa Butterfield, Lauren McCrostie, Pixie Davies, Cameron King, twins Thomas & Joseph Odwell, Allison Janney, Judi Dench and Ella Purnell. I’m certainly intrigued! This looks fun. ›››

Talented Young Actor Anton Yelchin Has Died in Freak Car Accident

    Anton Yelchin

Horrible news to report today. Actor Anton Yelchin has died in a freak car accident at his home today in California. He was 27 years old and already very accomplished, with lead roles in quite a few films. Reports indicate that he was killed by his own car, which rolled down a steep hill in neutral and pinned him against a brick pillar. “It appears he had exited his car and was behind it when the vehicle rolled down a steep driveway,” the LAPD said in a statement (via Variety). Yelchin was born in Leningrad in the former Soviet Union, and his family moved to the United States when he was just six months old. He started his acting career at age 9, and has been landing prominent roles for the last 10 years. What a tragedy, so sad to hear. ›››

  • Official US Trailer for Johnnie To's Latest Action Thriller Film 'Three'

Official US Trailer for Johnnie To's Latest Action Thriller Film 'Three'

    Three Trailer

“We’re professionals, but not everything is within our control.” Well Go USA has debuted a short trailer for the pending US release of the new Johnnie To film titled Three. His new film is another action-thriller set almost entirely inside of a hospital where the lives of three people intersect. When a police sting goes bad, a master criminal makes a desperate choice: he forces the cops to shoot him. Once in the hospital, he refuses treatment, instead waiting for his cohorts to break him out. The tension builds between the cop and a surgeon assigned to save his life. The cast features Louis Koo, Wallace Chung, Vicki Zhao and others. This US trailer doesn’t have any of the dialogue, but I like the music. I just wonder if it’s actually any good. ›››

The full cast includes Chad Michael Murray, Francesca Eastwood, Madisen Beaty, Ben Browder, Frances Fisher, Keith Loneker, Luke Wilson and Teri Polo. Pixar Evolution

Today marks the release of the 17th movie from Pixar Animation Studios. First launched in 1986, they have consistently been one of the most successful movie studios producing consistently outstanding content that wins over audiences of all ages, critics and even The Academy (26 Oscars!). To celebrate the release of Finding Dory, two fans put together this fantastic video called “The Evolution of Pixar” analyzing their progress with animation technology over these past 30 years. • Trailer for Heart-Wrenching 'Gleason' Doc About the Struggles of ALS

Trailer for Heart-Wrenching 'Gleason' Doc About the Struggles of ALS

    Gleason Documentary Trailer

“I believe my future is bigger than my past.” Amazon Studios & Open Road have released a trailer for the documentary Gleason, profiling the life of former NFL player Steve Gleason, who has ALS. Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis is a “rapidly progressive, invariably fatal neurological disease that attacks the nerve cells (neurons) responsible for controlling voluntary muscles”, eventually leaving the person completely unable to move. This is the same disease that Stephen Hawking has, however this doc shows how a normal, healthy person slowly loses his ability to move or function. And it’s very sad, but very inspiring, because Gleason does his best to weather the storm and survive against all odds. Yes, this will make you cry, there’s no doubt. ›››

David Brent: Life on the Road

“On the road is where I really come alive.” eOne Entertainment in the UK has debuted another new trailer for Ricky Gervais’ latest film, David Brent: Life of the Road, bringing his character from “The Office” to the big screen. The film follows Gervais as David Brent, who has turned to the life of being a rockstar in a band called “Foregone Conclusion”. The first trailer didn’t show too much, but this one has plenty of laughs to offer. The cast includes Tom Bennett, Jo Hartley, Mandeep Dhillon and Rebecca Gethings. For those wondering when they’ll be able to see this in the US, Netflix will apparently be releasing this in early 2017. The trailer has a few fun moments but nothing that made me laugh out loud. Not too sure about this. ›››

    Anthropoid Trailer

“Take a look around… This is not some game… You get noticed, and that gets us noticed, and being noticed gets us all shot.” Bleecker Street has released a trailer for the film titled Anthropoid, which is actually a reference to Operation Anthropoid, the code-name for the assassination mission in Czechoslovakia to take out The Reich’s third in command after Hitler and Himmler, SS General Reinhard Heydrich. Actor Cillian Murphy stars as one of the Allied soldiers helping carry out the top-secret mission. He’s joined by a cast including Jamie Dornan, Harry Lloyd, Charlotte Le Bon, Toby Jones and Bill Milner. This looks like a very intricate and tense thriller.
