Watch The King Of Catherine Tournament Going On Right Now

Atlus released Catherine over five years ago on Xbox 360 and PS3. The game was never ported to PC or the current generation of consoles, and the 360 version still isn’t backwards compatible on the Xbox One. Despite all of those obstacles, however, there’s still a thriving competitive community around the game.

New concept art shows what a successor to The Swindle might look like. The original game was about thieves trying to break into Scotland Yard. Imagining a “not-a-sequel” to that game, Dan Marshall worked with artist Gareth Davies to create some concept art for a more sci-fi take on The Swindle’s core concepts.

  • Intense New Trailer for Disappearance Mystery 'Come and Find Me'

Intense New Trailer for Disappearance Mystery 'Come and Find Me'

    Come and Find Me Trailer

“Claire was complicated… she was dangerous.” Saban Films has debuted the new official theatrical trailer an indie drama titled Come and Find Me, a mysterious thriller about a missing woman. The first trailer we posted for this, which is actually even longer than this one below, was just a teaser – this is the final full trailer. Aaron Paul stars in this, with Annabelle Wallis, Garret Dillahunt, Valerie Tian, Zachary Knighton and Terry Chen. When his girlfriend goes missing, David tracks down her whereabouts after he realizes she’s not who she was pretending to be. This film seems to turn into some kind of violent action thriller in the second half, which makes me a little bit concerned, but you never know – it still might be good. ›››

  • Another US Trailer for Asghar Farhadi's Marriage Drama 'The Salesman'

Another US Trailer for Asghar Farhadi's Marriage Drama 'The Salesman'

    The Salesman Trailer #2

“I was waiting for you…” Cohen Media + Amazon Studios have debuted another new US trailer for Asghar Farhadi’s latest film, a drama called The Salesman, which first premiered at the Cannes Film Festival this summer. The title is in reference to many unique aspects of the plot, but also specifically Arthur Miller’s play “Death of a Salesman” which is being performed in the film. The actual story is about a couple whose relationship is tested after an assault incident with his wife while she’s home alone. Shahab Hosseini and Taraneh Alidoosti star as the couple. I wrote in my review from Cannes it’s “a complex, nuanced film with an intricate script that plays out in a very engrossing way.” Recommended viewing for the end of the year. ›››

  • Second Trailer for Ben Affleck's Prohibition Era Movie 'Live by Night'

Second Trailer for Ben Affleck's Prohibition Era Movie 'Live by Night'

    Live by Night Trailer

“What I learned was… powerful men don’t have to be cruel.” Warner Bros has debuted the second trailer for Ben Affleck’s new crime drama Live by Night, set during the Prohibition times in the 1920s in Boston. Ben Affleck stars in and directs this, playing the youngest son of a Boston police captain, who becomes an outlaw. The full ensemble cast features Scott Eastwood, Elle Fanning, Zoe Saldana, Sienna Miller, Chris Sullivan, Anthony Michael Hall, Brendan Gleeson, Titus Welliver, Chris Messina, Chris Cooper and Derek Mears. This looks so damn good! Amazing cinematography by Robert Richardson, and a helluva violent story about criminals, bootlegging, and the American dream. Both trailers for this movie have been superb, I’m very much looking forward to it. Affleck certainly knows what he’s doing as a director. ›››

Watch: Teaser Trailer for 'I Am Not Your Negro' Doc on James Baldwin

I Am Not Your Negro Trailer

“And the future of the country depends on that…” Magnolia Pictures has debuted a new teaser trailer for a documentary titled I Am Not Your Negro, about the legacy of James Baldwin. The documentary focuses on the book “Remember This House”, that Baldwin never finished. Haitian filmmaker Raoul Peck envisions a finished version of the book – a “radical narration” about race in America, through the lives and deaths of three of his friends: Martin Luther King Jr., Medgar Evers and Malcolm X. The doc uses only the writer’s original words to tell the harrowing story of race in modern America, arriving at one of the most important times for this discussion to continue. This is a great teaser, it should definitely get your attention. Fire it up. ›››

  • Microsoft Celebrating Halo's 15th Anniversary With Big Event Next Week

Here’s something to make you feel old: the Halo franchise celebrates its 15th anniversary this week.

To celebrate, developer 343 Industries is holding a livestream event and more this coming Tuesday, November 15, which is 15 years to the day after Halo: Combat Evolved came out in 2001.

One part of the celebration is a Twitch livestream, beginning at 3:43 PM PT.

“During the jam-packed show we’ll have a special walkthrough of the Halo Museum, talk Halo Wars 2 with Dan Ayoub & Max Szlagor, hear about some of the team and community’s fondest Halo memories, play Halo 5 with fans, talk HCS with Tashi & Strongside, take a look at the upcoming Halo Loot crate with James, answer your tweets and whatever else we end up doing when we inevitably stray from script,” 343 said about the event in its newest weekly blog post.

343 is also launching an “Anniversary Throwback” playlist for Halo 5, featuring Combat Evoled maps re-made in Halo 5 with the Forge tools. There will also be “free stuff.”

“What kind of birthday party would it be without goodie bags for attendees!? I don’t want to spoil the surprise but I think you’ll dig it,” 343 said.

Also in the blog post, 343 teased plans for Halo 5 even beyond the anniversary event. As 343 has said before, more DLC is coming.

“Plans are being made for some big holiday playlist updates as well as the release of the next big Halo 5 content update,” 343 said. “I know you’re eager for those juicy details and we look forward to being able to share more soon.”

As stated previously, Halo 5’s next major update will add more maps for Warzone Firefight, new Forge canvases, an “improved spectator experience,” and the ability to join live custom games on Xbox One and Windows 10 PC.

The game’s newest free content update was September’s Anvil’s Legacy, which was the ninth free expansion. Halo 5’s other expansions included The Battle of Shadow and Light (November), Cartographer’s Gift (December), Infinity’s Armor (January), Hammer Storm (February), Ghosts of Meridian (April), Memories of Reach (May), Hog Wild (May), and Warzone Firefight (June).
