“I can’t believe what comes out of your mouth!” Pantelion Films has debuted a trailer for a comedy titled How to Be a Latin Lover, which features an impressive cast and is actually the feature directorial debut of actor Ken Marino (who has been directing episodes of “Childrens Hospital” and “Burning Love” before this). Eugenio Derbez stars as the titular “Latin lover” who spends most of his time wooing wealthy older women, but ends up dumped and is forced to move in with his sister – who just so happens to be played by Salma Hayek. While living with her, he bonds with her nerdy son, Hugo, played by Raphael Alejandro. The rest of the cast includes Kristen Bell, Raquel Welch, Mckenna Grace, Rob Lowe, Michael Cera, Michaela Watkins, Rob Corddry, Rob Riggle, Rob Huebel & Renée Taylor. This looks fun… maybe. ›››
Super Mario Run has reached 50 million downloads. Nintendo announced the milestone on the game’s Japanese Twitter account, where it also said it’s giving all players 10 free Toad Rally tickets as a celebration.
“To show our gratitude to everyone who’s downloaded [Super Mario Run], we are giving you all 10 Rally Tickets for free,” reads a message delivered to players through Super Mario Run’s in-game notification system. “Use them to enjoy all the fun of the Toad Rally. “
Super Mario Run was released on December 15, which means it has reached to 50 million downloads mark in just over a week. As previously detailed, it accumulated 40 million downloads in the first four days it was available.
The game is free to download, but only a limited selection of levels are playable until you purchase it for $10/£8. Nintendo has not released information on how many players have spent money on Super Mario Run.
GTA Online’s holiday event kicks off in full today, as a rare weather event–snow–begins to fall in the world now through Monday to celebrate the holidays, Rockstar Games announced on its blog.
A new Adversary mode has also been released. Titled Juggernaut, this is an “all-out brawl for dominance,” with two players suiting up with heavy armor and a chaingun to become a behemoth.
“In this brutal war between two opposing teams, the Juggernaut is your greatest asset and your only liability,” reads a line from its description.” As an Attacker, you’ll need to flank, swarm and successfully execute the opposing team’s heavily-reinforced Juggernaut–while protecting your own–to take the win. If your team is unable to wipe out the opposition’s Juggernaut in time, Sudden Death rules go into effect and everyone becomes a Juggernaut. First kill wins though, so you’ll want to be aggressive in trying to take first blood.
You can earn doubled GTA$ and RP in the mode now through January 1.
More holiday-themed content has now arrived as well in the form of a custom version of the Pfister Comet that’s been morphed into a “gritty urban dragster suitable for the rough-riding drifters of Los Santos.” You can find the vehicle at Benny’s Original Motor Works.
As mentioned, snow is now falling in Los Santos and Blaine County, continuing through December 26. Also, snowball fights are back. You can press left on the D-pad to collect up to nine snowballs

While it may not come as much of a surprise that another entry in the Forza Motorsport franchise is under development, it’s fair to assume its early announcement might have surprised Microsoft and Turn 10 Studios.
In a post on the racing wheel manufacturer’s forums, Fanatic CEO Thomas Jackermeier asked forumgoers to let him know “what new features you would like to see supported in FM7,” presumably a reference to the previously unannounced Forza Motorsport 7.
GTPlanet reported the post was later updated by Jackermeier, noting that his meeting to discuss racing wheel feature additions with Turn 10 Studios was very positive. “There is a new person who is responsible for physics and force feedback and this is a ‘wheel guy,’” Jackermeir’s post reads. “He is a real world racer with car engineering background and very familiar with PC simracing.”
Fanatic produces racing wheels for a PC-first market, which explains Jackermeier’s excitement at Turn 10’s reported interest in supporting PC players. “The PC market seems very important for them and they are aware that this market is dominated by wheel users,” he wrote. “Therefore we will intensify our co-operation and get the best out of the games for wheel users. I cannot confirm at this point what features can be implemented but the interest to do so is very high.”
Given that wheel support was only relatively recently added to Forza Motorsport 6, it’s good to hear that wheel manufacturers are working with Turn 10 Studios to ensure that support is well implemented.
To celebrate the holiday period, The King of Fighters XIV has announced its holiday promo over on the PlayStation Blog. Get your hands on a free retro Athena costume based on The King of Fighters ’98 version, before it becomes paid DLC in a month’s time. You can also pick up a series of The King of Fighters holiday PlayStation 4 themes to get you into a merry mood.
The blog post also details the upcoming v1.10 patch for The King of Fighters XIV, which adds a series of graphical and cosmetic improvements. Each character will have their total number of color variations increased from four to six. The graphical overhaul appears to include higher resolution textures, and some updated shaders.
Here we have a legitimately captivating video in which the makers of Epic Battle Simulator (video games are good) demonstrate what their game is capable of. This video is eight minutes long, and I watched the whole damn thing:
A Florida woman has won a battle which will allow her to keep her pet alligator. An alligator which wears a jacket, rides an ATV and looks a lot like Diddy Kong Racing’s Krunch.
