Far Cry 4 is the kind of game that lets you make a lot of mistakes. The first night I started playing, I walked into an abandoned house and spotted a hornet’s nest. I shot it for no particular reason. A swarm of hornets flew out and killed me. The next time I saw a hornet’s nest, I did not shoot at it.

It’s been four year since we first reported on Seventh Son (then called The Last Apprentice), three years since the film went into production, and two years since its originally scheduled release date. But the movie somehow still hasn’t hit theaters, so today we have a new Seventh Son trailer to share with you.
Jeff Bridges leads the production as Master Gregory, the last member of a mystical order. He takes a prophesied hero named Tom Ward (Ben Barnes) under his wing, and together they two battle an evil witch queen (Julianne Moore) from unleashing hell. Hit the jump to watch the new Seventh Son trailer.
Fun fact: Alex Pettyfer and Jennifer Lawrence were courted for the leads in early 2011, and then Sam Claflin and Alicia Vikander. Claflin got as far as negotiations before dropping out, while Vikander eventually closed her deal to star with Barnes. Not that it’s done Vikander much good. She’s definitely on the rise, but it’s not because of this fantasy adventure no one has ever actually seen. And Lawrence and Claflin eventually found another teen franchise to star in, so all’s well that ends well.
Directed by Sergey Bodrov, Seventh Son is slated to open February 6, 2015. Or so Universal claims for now. With this movie’s shitty luck, we wouldn’t be all that shocked if it got pushed back yet again to February 2017.
In a time of enchantments when legends and magic collide, the sole remaining warrior of a mystical order (Oscar® winner Jeff Bridges) travels to find a prophesized hero born with incredible powers, the last Seventh Son (Ben Barnes). Torn from his quiet life as a farmhand, the unlikely young hero embarks on a daring adventure with his battle-hardened mentor to vanquish a dark queen (Julianne Moore) and the army of supernatural assassins she has dispatched against their kingdom.

Since his return to the screen, Arnold Schwarzenegger has dabbled not only in new projects, but in films that return the actor to well-known roles from his past. There’s Terminator: Genisys, of course, in which Schwarzenegger steps back into the metal skeleton of the T-800. And there are possible returns to Twins and Conan, as well. Now the actor says there’s a potential Running Man sequel in the offing — that would be a return to the comic/dystopian world of the 1987 adaptation of Stephen King’s early novel of the same title.
Digital Spy reports that Schwarzenegger commented on a potential Running Man sequel while doing a Q&A in England this past weekend.
It’s an honor to be asked back after all these years, back to the franchise. This is really wild… They’re doing a Twins sequel, to be called ‘Triplets’ I’ve read the first draft. There’s rumblings of a new ‘Running Man’ movie, so it’s a great honor to be asked back… [Getting in shape for these sequels] comes back to bodybuilding, I’m used to doing cardiovascular training every day. Therefore I’m still in good shape, and I can do the action and have the energy to do these movies.
The depressing future of the original Running Man film is actually set around 2018, so we don’t know what sort of sequel idea would really bring this story back to life. But Matt Singer at ScreenCrush has a pretty good idea: that this new Running Man could be a remake, with Schwarzenegger in the role originated by game show host Richard Dawson. Regardless, this sounds like an early plan at best, but I’d pay to see Schwarzenegger in a tux, screaming at death-row competitors who are running for their lives.

Netflix has already dabbled in political thriller, supernatural horror, and comedy-drama. Now it’s tackling the historical epic with its new original series Marco Polo. Lorenzo Richelmy stars as the 13th century Venetian explorer, who sets out on the Silk Road. He winds up staying a while in China, where he gets caught up in the central court of Kublai Khan (Benedict Wong). Watch the new Marco Polo trailer after the jump.
IGN debuted the new Marco Polo trailer.
The new promo reveals somewhat more about the plot of Marco Polo. For starters, it seems Marco Polo never really intended to hang around in China — his dad just decided to offer him up as collateral with no warning. But hey, things work out pretty well for him in the end. We’ve all heard of Marco Polo, nearly seven centuries after his death. Most of us probably could not name his dad.
Along with the new Marco Polo plot info, the trailer also serves up all the usual trappings of a prestige drama. There’s nudity and violence, and even one scene that offers up both at once. There are also tons of lush period details, complicated characters with a dark side, and some expertly staged, beautifully shot action scenes. Let’s just hope it lives up to the promise.
All ten episodes of Marco Polo will hit Netflix Friday, December 12 at 12:01 AM Pacific time. Marco Polo was created by John Fusco. Joachim Rønning and Espen Sandberg (Kon-Tiki), Dan Minahan (Game of Thrones), and Harvey Weinstein serve as executive producers. Joan Chen, Zhu Zhu, Remy Hii, Olivia Cheng, Claudia Kim, Uli Latukefu, and Tom Wu also star.
Intrigue. Deception. Bloodshed. These are just some of the obstacles awaiting legendary explorer Marco Polo as he navigates the inner court of 13th century ruler, Kublai Khan. From the back alleys of Venice to the perilous Silk Road, from the opulence of the Imperial City to the battlefields of China, Marco Polo is an epic action-adventure, where cultures clash, blood is spilled, and lies are told…
