Sony’s been keeping Troy Baker in designer hair wax, as he’s starred in several of the platform holder’s biggest games: The Last of Us, inFAMOUS: Second Son, Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, Death Stranding, Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, The Last of Us: Part II – and probably a dozen more that we’re forgetting. So when developer Ready at Dawn wanted to cast the irritatingly handsome thespian as Sir Galahad in The Order: 1886, the platform holder said no.

“Since you’re going to bring it up,” Baker guffawed, as part of an E3 2019 panel on Lone Echo 2, “Sony literally said – and I hope you’re going to laugh at this because I had to – in too many games. So they changed it.”

Is Final Fantasy VII Remake going to end up on the PS5 as well as the PS4? We certainly wouldn’t bet against it. In fact, we’d probably put money on it getting a PS5 version when the console launches, supposedly in late 2020. But Square Enix isn’t quite ready to unveil its plans for next-gen just yet, as you’d expect.

Rebellion knows how to make a good co-op game, and with Zombie Army 4: Dead War, it’s leveraging all of its experience in a face-off against the undead. Building on the foundations laid by Zombie Army Trilogy, this looks like a supremely satisfying shooter, filled with the kind of grotesque killcams you’d expect from the creators of Sniper Elite.

One of the most impressive things about The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt was the sheer scale of it. The game made you feel like you were part of an enormous fantasy world, which was simply existing all around you. Perhaps the base expectation for Cyberpunk 2077, then, is that it will expand upon that – but how big is it exactly?

Speaking with Game Informer, quest director Mateusz Tomaszkiewicz explained: “We have the six districts, which also have . We have the Badlands, which is the area surrounding the city, the outskirts. The city itself is pretty big, but it also has levels. Because there are missions that will lead you to a specific building, and these can be pretty high.”

Square Enix has just wrapped up its E3 2019 press conference, and what a show it was. Final Fantasy VII Remake and Marvel’s Avengers were out in force, but the Japanese publisher still made time for the likes of the promising Dying Light 2. With reveals for the likes of Outriders and Final Fantasy VIII on PS4, it looks like there a good couple of years ahead of the company.

Final Fantasy VII Remake has a release date, believe it or not, and although it’s not launching this year, it’s actually not that far away. But what is Final Fantasy VII Remake? Square Enix has, on multiple occasions, made it sound like Remake will be split up into multiple episodes, with each episode supposedly being the size of a full game. It’s always been pretty confusing, and the publisher’s never gone out of its way to clarify how it’s all going to work.

Hot news coming through, folks: Final Fantasy VII Remake has a release date. Announced moments ago at the Final Fantasy VII Live concert in Los Angeles, the highly anticipated reimagining of Square’s classic Japanese role-playing title will launch worldwide for PlayStation 4 on the 3rd March, 2020.

The date appears at the end of a new trailer, also shown at the concert. It features some fresh gameplay, so get it watched.
