  • Watch The First Deadpool 2 Teaser

The first teaser for the superhero movie sequel Deadpool 2 has arrived.

Star Ryan Reynolds today posted the clip on YouTube. His character, Wade Wilson, encounters a man getting mugged. Like Superman, he jumps into a phone booth to change into his Deadpool suit–but…well, watch the video to see how it turns out. Stan Lee even shows up.

EW noticed that this trailer also references “Nathan Summers,” which is a reference to Cable, who has been heavily teased for the sequel. Recently, a report claimed Stranger Things actor David Harbour might play him. However, this trailer shows a poster for Firefly, so could it be Nathan Fillion?

Avatar actor Stephen Lang said last year that he would like to play the part.

As for Deadpool 2‘s release date, the trailer jokes that the movie is “coming…not soon enough.” On a more serious note, Fox currently has two slots allocated for upcoming X-Men movies, in 2018 and 2019. One is thought to be Deadpool 2, the other possibly New Mutants.

Anyone know the number to 911?

    No Good Deed https://t.co/HyfsFn48Vl

Deadpool 2 is set to be directed by John Wick’s David Leitch, who replaces the first film’s director, Tim Miller, who dropped out over reported creative differences with Reynolds.

This Deadpool 2 teaser runs before Logan, which is in theaters now.

As for the new details, according to DualShockers, Melo confirmed that female Krogan characters (and female versions for all races) will be available. You can customize armor (including color and patterns), but customization for your character’s face is not supported.

Continuing from Mass Effect 3, Andromeda’s multiplayer will feature packs containing items that can be unlocked through gameplay or by spending real money.

As for how XP is earned, DualShockers reports that “during matches each player contributes to the total experience granted, and the the whole amount is granted to all.”

Andromeda’s multiplayer beta has been canceled. However, you can try the mode before launch on Xbox One and PC if you have an EA/Origin Access subscription. The EA/Origin Access free trial for the game, which limits you to 10 hours, arrives on March 16, with the full game coming out on March 21 for Xbox One, PC, and PS4.

  • Disney Planning New Tron Movie, Jared Leto Could Star In It – Report

Disney Planning New Tron Movie, Jared Leto Could Star In It – Report

Disney is making a new Tron movie and Jared Leto could star in it.

This is according to The Hollywood Reporter, which claims, based on anonymous sources, that Disney is in the “very early stages” of making the film. Leto won an Oscar for Dallas Buyers Club and recently played the Joker in Suicide Squad.

    No Caption Provided

“No writer has been hired at this exploratory stage, and no filmmaker is involved,” THR said.

Tron: Legacy producer Justin Springer is in line to produce the new film, while Leto would be involved “in some producing capacity” if the movie ever gets made, which is not guaranteed.

After 2010’s Tron: Legacy made $400 million, plans were reportedly in place for another movie, but it never happened.

THR added: “Sources say this new project is not a direct sequel and is being built out of the source code of the deleted Tron 3 script. Leto would play a character named Ares, who has not appeared onscreen before, but was a key player in that script.”

The first Tron was released in 1982, starring Jeff Bridges. The movie takes place inside of a computer program known as the Grid.

  • Game Of Thrones Season 7 May Air In July, New Promo Released

When will HBO’s Game of Thrones return for Season 7? We still don’t know for sure, but now, actor Liam Cunningham (Davos Seaworth) has teased that the show may come back in July.

“I’ve been disappointing various people around the world because it was meant to come out in April. It’s July now, I think,” he told The Independent (via IGN).

    — Oathkeepers 💙⚔️ (@Jaime_Brienne) March 3, 2017

We’ve always know this new season would debut later than the previous ones, but this is apparently the first time we’re hearing about a July date.

Cunningham also confirmed there will be a special event to mark the season premiere and that, as rumored, it will only have seven episodes. He also said production will begin on Season 8 in September this year.

“There’s going to be a launch and something special happening this year for the premiere. The bad news is, there will only be seven episodes and the final season starts again as far as I know in September,” he said.

A new promo for Game of Thrones Season 7 aired recently on HBO and can be seen above. According to actress Emilia Clarke, Season 7 is going to blow your mind.

Although Game of Thrones may wrap up with Season 8, there is a chance that HBO will produce a prequel.

  • Here's The First Picture Of Emily Blunt As Mary Poppins

Disney has released the first picture of actress Emily Blunt as Mary Poppins in its upcoming reboot of the series, Mary Poppins Returns. It’s a classic-looking photo showing Blunt standing in front of the Banks mansion after magically flying there, presumably.

    Take a look:

Here’s your first look at Emily Blunt as Mary Poppins in “Mary Poppins Returns,” coming to theatres December 25, 2018. pic.twitter.com/NSEFZcsbaK

    — Walt Disney Studios (@DisneyStudios) March 3, 2017

Like the original, the reboot will feature three Banks children, who are played by Pixie Davies (Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children), Nathanael Saleh (Game of Thrones) and Joel Dawson.

Also similar to the original, the sequel is set in 1930s depression-era London and tells a story based on the works of author PL Travers. Here is the official synopsis:

“In the story, Michael (Whishaw) and Jane (Mortimer) are now grown up, with Michael, his three children and their housekeeper, Ellen (Walters), living on Cherry Tree Lane. After Michael suffers a personal loss, the enigmatic nanny Mary Poppins (Blunt) re-enters the lives of the Banks family, and, along with the optimistic street lamplighter Jack (Miranda), uses her unique magical skills to help the family rediscover the joy and wonder missing in their lives. Mary Poppins also introduces the children to a new assortment of colorful and whimsical characters, including her eccentric cousin, Topsy (Streep).”

Mary Poppins Returns is directed by Rob Marshall, who made the Disney movie Into the Woods. Mary Poppins Returns comes out on Christmas Day 2018.

  • The Wire's Omar Might Be Joining The Star Wars Han Solo Movie

The Wire's Omar Might Be Joining The Star Wars Han Solo Movie

Michael K. Williams, who starred in HBO’s acclaimed drama The Wire and was recently seen in the Assassin’s Creed movie, might be joining Lucasfilm’s upcoming Star Wars Han Solo movie.

Variety is reporting that Williams is in “final talks” to join the film. We don’t know anything about his character, or the movie’s overall plot, really, except for the fact that it’s a prequel to the Star Wars series.

    No Caption Provided

Williams has been re-tweeting stories about this report, so it seems pretty solid, though Lucasfilm has yet to make a formal announcement about his involvement.

The untitled Han Solo movie will focus on Han Solo’s “early encounters” with Lando Calrissian and is currently in production.

Han Solo is played by Alden Ehrenreich, while Donald Glover portrays Lando Calrissian. Game of Thrones star Emilia Clarke is also in the movie, alongside Hunger Games actor Woody Harrelson, both in unspecified roles. Westworld actress Thandie Newton and Fleabag‘s Phoebe Waller-Bridge will appear in the movie as well, though their parts have not been announced.

Basketball player Joonas Suotamo plays Chewbacca.

“Watching such inspired people from all over the world, with such unique voices, come together for the sole purpose of making art, is nothing short of miraculous,” directors Chris Lord and Phil Miller said in a statement. “We can’t think of anything funny to say, because we just feel really moved, and really lucky.”

The Han Solo movie opens on May 25, 2018. The next entry in the series is this year’s Star Wars: The Last Jedi, which picks up immediately after 2015’s The Force Awakens.

Awesome Art Picks: Harley Quinn, Flash, Hulk, and More

Each week we search and gather up the coolest comic book art you won’t see in actual comics.
