    Military Wives Trailer

“This choir isn’t about singing for ourselves… it’s about being heard.” Bleecker Street Films has unveiled an official trailer for a “feel-good crowd-pleaser” film titled Military Wives, the latest film from the British director of The Full Monty. Despite the reality TV-sounding name, this is really a heartfelt dramedy about a group of women whose partners are away serving in the military in the Middle East. They come together and form a choir, and quickly find themselves at the center of a media sensation and global movement. The cast is lead by Kristin Scott Thomas and Sharon Horgan, with an ensemble including Emma Lowndes, Gaby French, Lara Rossi, Amy James-Kelly, Jason Flemyng, and Greg Wise. This doesn’t seem so bad! I was ready to write it off, especially with that title, but it actually has quite a bit of inspiration to offer. ›››

Meet an Unconventional Vet in Trailer for Documentary ‘The Dog Doc’

    The Dog Doc Trailer

“They want to know how you made this dog better.” FilmRise has debuted the full trailer for a fascinating documentary titled The Dog Doc, a new doc from producer / filmmaker Cindy Meehl. Called a maverick, a miracle-worker, and a quack, Dr. Marty Goldstein is a pioneer of “integrative veterinary medicine.” By holistically treating animals after other vets have given up, Goldstein provides a last hope for pet owners with nothing left to lose. This film introduces us to Dr. Goldstein, and his unconventional methods, which may sound a bit ridiculous but they also may work. “By casting an intimate lens over this unique world, The Dog Doc shows the healing powers of wellness, compassion and hope.” And for those concerned, the trailer has a clip where he explains: “Most of the animals have already had third, fourth, and fifth opinions. We are their very last hope.” Most pet owners will do anything to keep their pets alive and happy. Looks quite good. ›››

With the tagline “From Russia with love,” Netflix’s teaser for Stranger Things‘ upcoming fourth season gives fans a reveal that will warm their hearts. We don’t know exactly where this season is going yet, but part of it will be set outside of Hawkins, Indiana. We expect to return to Hawkins to catch up with the kids, but it looks like we’ll be spending some time in Russia as well. There’s also that pesky Upside Down that will probably become a factor again. The teaser sadly doesn’t give us the one thing we want most: a start date.

Square Enix today released the opening cinematic for Final Fantasy VII Remake. This gorgeous sequence takes you on a tour of Midgar and also gives you an idea of how the narrative is going to kick off. Final Fantasy VII Remake is right around the corner with an April 10 release date exclusively for PlayStation 4.

Square Enix is expanding greatly on the content from the original 1997 PlayStation game, and is turning Final Fantasy VII into a series of games. This first game is mostly contained within Midgar, and while the main story beats will likely be the same, Square is expanding on them and will give fans a deeper look at this world. We don’t know how many games Square is planning or what the release schedule will be like, but there’s a chance we’ll be playing Final Fantasy VII for years to come.

  • PlatinumGames Open To Wonderful 101 Sequel, As Long As Fans Show Their Support

    By backing the remaster.

In the same interview with Nintendo Everything, prior to the reveal of The Wonderful 101: Remastered, PlatinumGames head Atsushi Inaba said the developer was open to a follow-up, provided fans showed their support for the remaster.

In regards to a sequel or something, we can’t make one if there aren’t any fans for the series in the first place. So if fans support this and things go really well for The Wonderful 101, then I’d say it’s pretty natural that we’d want to make another game in the series! (Laughs)

  • Netflix Raises Hell With Castlevania’s Season 3 Trailer

    “Evil never stays buried”.

After a false call by Netflix Nordic last November, earlier this week the third season of the animated adaptation of Castlevania was officially dated. It’s arriving next month, on 5th March, and will reportedly be comprised of a total of 10 episodes.

If the release date alone wasn’t enough, Netflix has now shared its first trailer of season three. As you might recall, the previous season ended with Alucard killing his father. Unfortunately, though, the human race is still under threat from Dracula’s forces of evil.
