Second Trailer for 'Johnny English Strikes Again' with Rowan Atkinson

    Johnny English Strikes Again Trailer

“Can I just ask: what is wrong with you?” Universal/Focus Features has debuted a short second trailer for spy spoof comedy Johnny English Strikes Again, the third wacky comedy in the Johnny English series, returning after a seven year hiatus. Rowan Atkinson (who also plays Mr. Bean) is back again as Johnny English, the “man with few skills” and wacky, loser spy who helps save Britain, again. This time, a cyber-attack (yes, indeed) reveals the identity of all active undercover agents in Britain, and English (of course) is the only one who can help them get everything back in order. The cast in this includes Emma Thompson, Olga Kurylenko, Ben Miller, Jake Lacy, Adam James, and Miranda Hennessy. I really don’t know why they made this – it doesn’t seem like the right time or place for another spy spoof movie. The best part about this trailer is watching Emma Thompson tear him a new one, but that’s about it. More of that, please. ›››

“Is that guy following us?” CBS Films has revealed the full-length red band trailer for the upcoming horror movie Hell Fest, about a horror theme park that becomes a killing playground for a masked serial killer. The first teaser trailer showed some promise, but this new trailer really lets loose and it looks freaky as all hell. “A terrifying thrill ride from iconic horror producer Gale Anne Hurd and director Gregory Plotkin (Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension), this September audiences will discover that it’s fun going in… but it’s hell getting out.” Hell Fest stars Amy Forsyth, Reign Edwards, Bex Taylor-Klaus, Christian James, Roby Attal, and Matt Mercurio. This actually looks super creepy and violent and insane, they’re seriously showing off all the gore and wow. That final shot – damn. Hard to even watch! Be careful out there. ›››

    Trench 11 Trailer

“This base has been sealed for a reason.” RLJE Films has released an official trailer for the zombie horror film Trench 11, which premiered at the Toronto After Dark Film Festival last year and has been playing at various genre film festivals since then. The zombie horror is set in the final days of WWI, following a shell-shocked soldier who must lead a mission deep beneath the trenches to stop a German plot that could turn the tide of the war. This is brutal and bloody and violent and exactly what you might expect for a film about WWI bloodthirsty, worm-infected zombie soldiers. Trench 11 stars Rossif Sutherland, Karine Vanasse, Charlie Carrick, Shaun Benson, and Ted Atherton. This trailer takes a bit of time to build, but finally gets into the gnarly, freaky horror stuff, though they don’t show much of the ensuing gore. Tread carefully. ›››

Must Watch: Rad Trailer for Trippy Sci-Fi Short Film 'They Wait For Us'

    They Wait For Us Trailer

“The mind has its own place… and in itself can make a heaven of hell, a hell of heaven.” What the?! Visitor Studios has released an official trailer for a short film titled They Wait For Us, which is currently playing at a few more film festivals before it ends up online. Usually we don’t post trailers for shorts, but I’m making an exception for this because this looks incredible. Co-directed by VFX artists Lukas Schrank & George Thomson, the short is set in a near-future end-of-life care facility, where a reclusive hospital worker starts to believe a coma patient is secretly communicating with him. Described as a “haunting mini-masterpiece that’s as visually arresting as it is spiritually compelling.” I don’t even really know what’s going on here, but the visuals in this trailer are trippy and entrancing, and I can’t wait to see the full short. Check it out below. ›››

In this spoilerific episode Julian Hill and guest Richard Otlet discuss some of the most thought provoking and engaging stories in video games, proving that the most powerful tales told in games can be as memorable as any novel or movie and that just because a game is geared towards a mature audience that doesn’t mean that it’s all about sex, drugs and ultra violence.

Peter Dinklage in First Trailer for HBO's Biopic 'My Dinner with Hervé'

    My Dinner with Hervé Trailer

“I have a little story for you, junior.” HBO has unveiled the teaser trailer for a new film titled My Dinner with Hervé, the latest feature made by award-winning filmmaker Sacha Gervasi (ofAnvil: The Story of Anvil, Hitchcock, November Criminals). The film stars Peter Dinklage as the famous French dwarf actor Herve Villechaize, who many will recognize from either The Man with the Golden Gun (as Scaramanga’s little henchman Nick Nack) or “Fantasy Island” (as Tattoo). The story is about an evening in Los Angeles in which struggling journalist Danny Tate, as played by Jamie Dornan, is sent to meet and interview Herve. This really happened and, as the story goes, it was “an encounter that will have life-changing consequences for both.” I had no idea they were even making this film! But I am so very interested already. This teaser doesn’t show much, but it’s more than enough to sell me. I’m a big fan of Nick Nack, and I think it’s great to see Dinklage playing Villechaize, digging deep into the challenges of being a celebrity dwarf. This also stars Andy Garcia, Mireille Enos, Oona Chaplin, Helena Mattsson, and Harriet Walter. Watch below. ›››

  • Scary Trailer for Mysterious Sci-Fi Horror 'Await Further Instructions'

    Await Further Instructions Trailer

“Someone’s locked us in.” Dark Sky Films has debuted an official trailer for a freaky new sci-fi horror-thriller titled Await Further Instructions, made by filmmaker Johnny Kevorkian. The film’s plot is about an argumentative family that gets together on Christmas. When they wake up on Christmas Day, they discover their house is covered with black material, and when they turn on the TV it says: “Stay Indoors and Await Further Instructions.” That’s a wicked cool idea for a horror film, something out of “Black Mirror” or “The Twilight Zone”. Alas, this doesn’t look as good as I’d hoped, a bit too weird, but I’m still very curious about it. The film’s cast includes David Bradley, Abigail Cruttenden, Holly Weston, Sam Gittins, Grant Masters, Neerja Naik, and Kris Saddler. This is definitely worth a look, for that concept alone. ›››

RLJE Films has debuted the official trailer for an alien abduction, sci-fi mystery/thriller film titled Beyond The Sky, which is getting a release next month.
