  • This Black Friday MacBook Air deal is the cheapest we’ve ever seen the 2019 model

The new MacBook Air is characterized by a sleek new design, a built-in Touch ID sensor and a Retina display. To top it off, there’s a sweet Black Friday MacBook deal at Micro Center that makes this awesome laptop even better.

Right now you can pick up the 2019 MacBook Air with an Intel Core i5 processor, 8GB of RAM and a 128GB SSD for just $779, down $320 from its list price of $1,099. However, if you want to take advantage of this sweet Black Friday laptop deal, you’re going to have to go down to your local Micro Center (if you luckily have one nearby). We think this deal is absolutely worth the extra effort.

Now, it should be noted that this computer is designed first and foremost for everyday computing tasks – think checking your email, surfing the web or maybe some light Photoshop work. A MacBook Pro, this is not. But the discounted $779 pricetag is the perfect price for what the MacBook Air offers users – even Apple haters won’t be able to argue there.

It does come with the oft-maligned Butterfly keyboard that was swapped out in the newest MacBook Pro, but at least Apple will replace it if anything bad happens. At the end of the day, if you’re just looking for a sleek laptop for school or home, that you can show off in your local Starbucks, you can’t go wrong here.

We do realize that not a ton of people live within convenient distance to a Micro Center, but luckily there are plenty of awesome Black Friday Mac deals available right now, so we went ahead and listed some more down below.

Building on from a successful 2018/19, Astro Gaming and Gears Esports have expanded their partnership with Astro becoming the Official Audio Partner of Gears Esports across the full 2019/20 season. The agreement will see Astro’s industry leading audio equipment being used across all four Gears Esports Majors, including the inaugural Gears World Championships, as well as across the Gears Unlimited and Gears Pro League Live content series.

“Astro has been a great partner across previous seasons of Gears Esports and we’re delighted to build on that for Gears 5. Now, as well as having Astro’s top class audio equipment and expertise at our events, we’ll also benefit from that across all of our content series,” said Dana Sissons, Director of Communications, The Coalition.

  • Four Five Nights at Freddy’s Games Celebrate Black Friday on PS4

    Get a pizza the action.

There’s a trailer embedded above. Unfortunately, there doesn’t appear to be a bundle, so you’re going to have to pod out full-price for all four titles if you want to play them all.

  • The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe Delayed to ‘Sometime’ in 2020

    It’s not so bad.

Anticipated port The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe has been delayed until 2020, “sometime probably before summer, but it sort of depends on the specifics of how development goes”. Originally due out this year on consoles, developer Crows Crows Crows teased that it’s seriously expanded the scope of the title in this conversion.

“When The Stanley Parable came out, a lot of people asked us for more endings and more content,” the studio joked. “We told them it didn’t need more content, that it was fine just the way it was, that it already had the perfect number of endings. What a sorry sack of lies that was.” It concluded: “But seriously, this time it’s done. No more.”

  • Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Season One Is the Series’ Biggest Free Content Update Ever

    Crash and Shipment are back.

Wow, we’re a little bit impressed by this. Activision’s biggest franchise dropped its commitment to the season pass DLC model with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, instead promising a slew of free updates after launch. Developer Infinity Ward has stuck to that with a few minor content drops, but the upcoming Season One update is claiming to be “the biggest free content drop in Call of Duty history”.

True to form, there’s rather a lot to take in here. Classic Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare multiplayer maps Crash, Shipment, and Vacant are making their return alongside three completely new online modes. Those being Reinforce, Gunfight OSP, and Infected. Exciting, right? The fun doesn’t stop there, however, with another new map for Ground War called Port and two weapons named the RAM-7 and Holger-26.
