  • Total Recall review for NES

Total Recall from Interplay and Acclaim from 1990, based on the original Total Recall movie! Sadly the game isn’t as good as the movie. In fact it’s not as good as a botched trip to Mars where you get attacked by mutants. The original Total Recall film was directed by the awesome Paul Verhoeven (Robocop, Starship Troopers) and stars the highly quotable Arnold Schwarzenegger, Michael Ironside, Sharon Stone and Ronny Cox. This game is crap, but the movie is a masterpiece of late 1980’s style action films packed with one liners and brilliant laughs. Totall Recall videogame is a lousy side scrolling action game where you punch and shoot enemies in boring levels loosely based on the movie. CGR Totall Recall video review features Total Recall gameplay recorded from the NES Nintendo Entertainment System

  • PIKE’S PEAK & GHOST MANOR review for Atari 2600

Classic Game Room reviews SPIKE’S PEAK and GHOST MANOR, two games on one XONOX double ender game cartridge for Atari 2600! This rare, collectible Atari 2600 game has two games on one oversized, unique Atari cartridge starting with Spike’s Peak which is an odd game where players control a mountain climber as he scales Spike’s Peak (not to be confused with Pike’s Peak) and dodges bird, fire, polar bears and rock slides. Ghost Manor is also a bizarre game where you control a girl who chases ghosts and then navigates mazes while also throwing spears at ghouls. CGR Spike’s Peak and Ghost Manor video review features gameplay from the XONOX double sided double-ender video game cartridge.

  • Classic Game Room : SPY HUNTER review for PS2

Classic Game Room reviews SPY HUNTER for PlayStation 2 from Midway released in 2001. This awesome retro remake of Spy Hunter is more of a re-imagining of the series than a direct remake. Spyhunter gameplay is fast and awesome as you drive the new Interceptor through missions filled with enemies and obstacles. CGR Spy Hunter video review features Spyhunter PS2 gameplay in HD action recorded from PlayStation 2 (Spy Hunter is also available on Xbox, Nintendo Gamecube, PC and more). The original Spy Hunter was released in 1983 and while this game bears little in common with the original it is very challenging and filled with driving, shooting and boating! Watch as your car turns into a boat and motorcycle and crush enemies with missiles, machine guns and flame throwers!
