Most of the board games I play with my crew are fairly recent, but on the weekend we dove into our pile of shame and played our first round of Battlestar Galactica. It either went very badly or very well, depending on how much hate and mistrust you like in your board games.
Two Elite: Dangerous players have managed to reach the top of the galaxy. “It is the very top,” said one, who goes by the name Dr Kaii. “There are no stars above at all.”

Despite the speculation that Daniel Craig might have starred in his last Bond movie, until now the actor had not commented on his future as 007. Craig has now hinted that he would still be up for more Bond films.
As reported by Vulture, the star was asked about Bond while attending the New Yorker Festival this weekend. “As far as I’m concerned, I’ve got the best job in the world,” he said. “I’ll keep doing it as long as I still get a kick out of it.”
Craig also addressed the comments he made last year while promoting Spectre, when he said that he would rather “slash my wrists” than play 007 again. “They say that s**t sticks, and that definitely stuck,” he said. “It was the day after filming [stopped on Spectre]. I’d been away from home for a year.”
“It’s a good gig. I enjoy it. If I were to stop doing it, I would miss it terribly.”
A number of names have been rumoured as possible replacements for Craig over the past few months, including Idris Elba, Michael Fassbender, and Tom Hiddleston.

The Hype Bros & American Alpha vs The Ascension & The Vaudevillians was added to the Kickoff Show for an 8-man tag team match.
There is a rumor spreading that Becky Lynch will not be defending the Smackdown Women’s Championship because she suffered a neck injury. As of earlier today, WWE was still promoting the match.
A backstage promo revealed Lynch will not be fighting because of an injury. The match was rescheduled for November 8 on Smackdown Live. Bliss will still be facing a mystery opponent during the PPV. As of right now, Lynch is still champion and has not vacated the belt.

If you own a Samsung Galaxy Note 7, you should strongly consider returning it–even if it’s one of the replacements distributed after phones began catching fire and exploding, prompting a recall.
The Verge reports that a Virginia man woke up to find the phone, which he received as a replacement after returning his original Note 7 in September, had caught fire on his nightstand, filling his bedroom with smoke. It’s at least the fourth case of an incident with a replacement Note 7 in the United States alone, with one starting a fire onboard a flight prior to takeoff this past week.
All major mobile carriers in the US are offering exchanges for Note 7s. However, in light of what’s happened even with replacements, AT&T is no longer offering exchanging Note 7s, GameSpot sister site CNET reports. Instead, customers can hand over their Note 7 for another device.
The exact scope of the issues with the Note 7 remains unclear, as Samsung has not been especially forthcoming. But it is clear that you should be extremely cautious if you have one that’s powered on.
Ask fans of 24 what storyline they want to see continued, and odds are you’ll hear more than a few bring up that of Tony Almeida. Now, it looks as if those fans will have something to look forward to in the upcoming 24: Legacy.
Yes, the antagonist who became a good guy, then a dead guy, then a bad guy, then a locked-up-in-jail guy is returning to 24 for its new, Jack Bauer-less season. That’s according to TVLine, which reports that Carlos Bernard, who plays Almeida, has signed a deal to appear in the upcoming reboot.
“Tony Almeida is one of the most indelible personalities in the 24 universe, at times loyal and loving, other times an utterly amoral, ruthless mercenary,” said co-showrunners Manny Coto and Evan Katz. “Carlos Bernard has done an amazing job portraying this dark and conflicted character, and we couldn’t be more thrilled with his return to the show.”
Almeida was featured in one of the special features released with the event series Live Another Day. Other than that, he hasn’t been since on-screen since Season 7 in 2009, showing up in neither Season 8 nor Live Another Day.

He may not be the only character to return in Legacy. There have been indications that Mary Lynn Rajskub’s Chloe O’Brian could also be back, although that hasn’t yet been completely confirmed. And with Kiefer Sutherland signed on as an executive producer, it’s always possible Jack Bauer’s face could show up at some point.
Mafia III has been in people’s hands for a couple days now, and it hasn’t taken long for players to run into glitches. A collection of these have been rounded up in a new video that will not disappoint fans of ridiculousness.
The seven-minute compilation comes from YouTube user CrowbCat and starts out innocuously enough, with a Goat Simulator-esque glitch where a person’s body is swinging around near the top of a building. From there, we get the more mundane things, like falling through the ground, to some really bizarre ones–a cop falls into the water, only to rise up and suddenly be standing on it as if it were land.
Elsewhere in the video, we see some of these glitches turn less funny, at least for the player, as a mission fails because of one. Also highlighted are some issues with the cover system and AI.
My personal favorite moment comes at the 1:42 mark, when we see a mirror… malfunction. It doesn’t correctly reflect protagonist Lincoln Clay in a weird sequence that’s vaguely reminiscent of Cooper’s camera test in the Twin Peaks movie.
