    “Evil never stays buried”.

After a false call by Netflix Nordic last November, earlier this week the third season of the animated adaptation of Castlevania was officially dated. It’s arriving next month, on 5th March, and will reportedly be comprised of a total of 10 episodes.

If the release date alone wasn’t enough, Netflix has now shared its first trailer of season three. As you might recall, the previous season ended with Alucard killing his father. Unfortunately, though, the human race is still under threat from Dracula’s forces of evil.

  • Rumour: Nintendo Wanted Sora In Smash Bros. Ultimate, But Got Rejected By Disney

    “Disney Japan specifically”.

One of the most requested DLC fighters for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is Sora from the Kingdom Hearts series. Compared to a lot of other suggestions, this character actually seems like quite an appropriate fit for Nintendo’s all-star brawler.

What are the chances then of Sora being added to the game, and why hasn’t Nintendo already made it happen? In the latest episode of the Kinda Funny Gamescast, former senior editor at Game Informer and industry insider Imran Khan revealed how Nintendo had “absolutely approached Disney” about the possible inclusion of Sora in Smash. When asked if Disney was the problem, Khan explained how it was “Disney Japan specifically” who had supposedly prevented any deal from going ahead.

    But changed its mind.

Earlier this week, football fans got quite a surprise when Bandai Namco announced it would be releasing Captain Tsubasa: Rise Of New Champions on the Nintendo Switch. If you didn’t know, it’s been ten whole years since the release of the last game, which is based on the manga series created by Yoichi Takahashi in 1981.

Did you know, though, that this new entry almost wasn’t going to be localised in certain regions? In an interview with US Gamer yesterday, Bandai Namco director of brand marketing Dennis Lee revealed the Japanese publisher planned on an exclusive release in Latin America – mostly because of the popularity of the anime series in the region.
