    Minecraft Dungeons arrives on the Switch and multiple other platforms next month. It’s inspired by classic dungeon crawlers and allows you to fight hordes of nasty mobs by yourself, or team up with three other players online or locally. According to the game’s official FAQ, though, you won’t be able to form a party with a random group of players online.

  • Random: Neighbour Sends Apology Pokémon Cake After Calling Police On Pokémon GO Players

    “Sorry we called the cops on you”.

    A Minnesota resident called Amy Kellems has hit the news this week after receiving an apology Pokémon cake from one of her neighbours. As reported by Fox35Orlando, Kellems decided to make full use of her neighbourhood’s current quietness by taking her daughter outside to play Pokémon GO, driving around in a car and stopping at any points of interest within the app.

    Eventually, they were pulled over on their driveway by police who had received a call mentioning a “suspicious” vehicle. Kellems told the officials that they were simply playing the game, going on to share the story of what had happened on US-based social networking site, Nextdoor.

  • Cooking Mama’s New Game Has Been Pulled From The Switch eShop And Nobody Knows Why

    Physical copies are also hard to find.

    Cooking Mama appears to have gone missing. According to a lengthy report from IGN, her new game – Cooking Mama: Cookstar – was released on the US Switch eShop last week, but has since been pulled. This extends to multiple other regions including the UK and Australia and supposedly applies to copies of the physical release in certain regions.

    At the time of writing, if you search for the game on the Switch eShop in any of these regions, no results are found. We even had a look across multiple eShop ourselves and got the same outcome. If you try to find the game on Nintendo’s website, only the older entries in the series show up.

  • Fitness Fanatics Are Now Paying Ridiculous Prices Online For Ring Fit Adventure

    When extreme price gouging pays off.

    There’s been on-going demand for Nintendo’s exercise game Ring Fit Adventure since it was released last October, and in recent months it’s become even harder to find due to the coronavirus outbreak – with shortages and supply issues reported worldwide.

    Now, in North America, there seems to be some extreme price gouging happening on eBay, following the arrival of the game’s musical update earlier this week. It’s bumped prices up to triple the amount of the MSRP, making it more expensive than a Switch Lite. Buyers don’t appear to be phased by the asking price – with many of these extra-expensive copies selling out.

  • Netflix Confirms Fourth Season Of The Castlevania Animated Series

    “Season four is coming”.

    Good news Castlevania fans, Netflix’s successful animated series of the same name will be receiving a fourth season. This announcement, which included a brief clip from the third season, was made on Netflix’s official NX Twitter account. Here it is:

    At the moment, no other details about the fourth season have been revealed. The third season was officially announced in November 2018 and has only just arrived earlier this month. If season four is the same size and scale as the existing ones, we likely won’t see the next chapter until some time next year.

    Nintendo’s been drip-feeding us details about Version 1.1.0 of Animal Crossing: New Horizons all week now. While we already know most things about the new update, the official patch notes over on the support page reveal a few extra details.

    Ver. 1.1 (Released March 20, 2020)

    • Online connectivity features
      • It’s now possible to visit other islands through online play via the internet.
      • Added features related to NookLink, a Nintendo Switch Online smart device app game-specific service.
      • Added functionality for Best Friends.
      • Message cards can now be sent to friends or received from friends.
    • General updates
      • Added a seasonal event.
      • Other adjustments were made to improve the game play experience.
