    Kong: Skull Island Behind-the-Scenes Video

“What the hell is this place?” Now they have my attention. Universal has debuted a new featurette for the upcoming Kong: Skull Island movie, showing some behind-the-scenes production footage inbetween interviews and talks with various people involved in the movie. This is the very first time we’re seeing any footage from this, so it’s exciting to see, especially knowing this eventually all leads to Kong vs Godzilla. The cast includes Tom Hiddleston, Brie Larson, Corey Hawkins, Jason Mitchell, John Ortiz, Shea Whigham and many others, all being directed by Jordan Vogt-Roberts. The scenery looks very impressive and I am intrigued to see more finished footage from this, but I do have a good feeling about it. Take a look. ›››

Warner Bros has unleashed another new trailer they’re calling the “Blitz” trailer for David Ayer’s Suicide Squad, featuring a fantastic assortment of DC villains in an action-packed, dark comedy super-villain R-rated comic book movie. Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them Trailer

“I wonder, what makes Albus Dumbledore so fond of you, Mr. Scamander?” What a line! Warner Bros has debuted another new full-length trailer for Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, the next new Harry Potter spin-off franchise launching this December, once again directed by David Yates (who also directed The Legend of Tarzan out this year). Oscar winner Eddie Redmayne stars as Newt Scamander, a magizoologist who winds up letting loose a suitcase full of magical creatures in New York City in the 20s. In this trailer we finally get to meet more of the cast including Katherine Waterston, Alison Sudol, Dan Fogler, and Colin Farrell, among others. It still plays like a teaser but I admire the way the score builds and becomes the centerpiece along with the impressive footage. This actually looks pretty darn good. Enjoy. ›››

Official Trailer for Indie 'The Family Fang' Directed by Jason Bateman

    The Family Fang Trailer

“We can’t fix them, we can only fix ourselves.” Starz Digital Media has debuted a trailer for the indie drama The Family Fang, directed by actor Jason Bateman, who also stars in the film which premiered at the Toronto Film Festival last year. Nicole Kidman also stars with Bateman as brother & sister who go home looking for their prankster parents, played by Christopher Walken & Maryann Plunkett. The cast includes Marin Ireland, Josh Pais, Michael Chernus and others. This looks interesting, not what you’ll be expecting at first, and potentially like it may be worth seeing if you’re wondering what’s really happening. ›››

  • Adrien Brody in Noir Crime Thriller 'Manhattan Night' Official Trailer

Adrien Brody in Noir Crime Thriller 'Manhattan Night' Official Trailer

    Manhattan Night Trailer

“Some secrets should never come to light.” Or maybe everyone prefers that kind of creepy tagline better? “No reporter can resist a siren.” Lionsgate has unveiled a trailer for a crime thriller called Manhattan Night, a sort of contemporary noir starring Adrien Brody as the pulp writer stuck in the middle of a crazy mysterious story of sex and lies and deceit. The cast includes Jennifer Beals and Yvonne Strahovski, plus Campbell Scott, Linda Lavin, Steven Berkoff and Kevin Breznahan. The trailer sets up the plot better than any text explanation can – this nice family man meets a “seductive stranger” and gets wrapped up in his own twisted story. This seems to be cutting it close to being straight-to-TV quality, so watch out. ›››

  • Watch: New Red Band Trailer for Sequel 'Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising'

Watch: New Red Band Trailer for Sequel 'Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising'

    Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising Trailer

“Just you dancing is enough to distract the entire sorority?” Universal has debuted a new red band trailer for Nicholas Stoller’s Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising, the sequel to the college kids vs adults comedy Neighbors starring Zac Efron, Seth Rogen and Rose Byrne. The cast this time also features Chloe Moretz, Selena Gomez, Dave Franco and Kiersey Clemons, among many others. As the first trailer showed, this time it’s about a sorority moving in next door to Rogen & Byrne, and they recruit the help of Efron to take them down. This is a much better trailer than the first one because they can let loose with the footage having a red band rating, but I hope the movie is actually as good as it seems it could be. Fire it up. ›››

Ricky Gervais Returns in First 'David Brent: Life on the Road' Trailer

David Brent: Life on the Road Trailer

“That was then, this is now. I’m currently a singer-song writer, and a rep.” EntertainmentOne from the UK has debuted the first trailer for the spin-off mockumentay David Brent: Life on the Road, which brings back Ricky Gervais‘ character David Brent from the original “The Office” (the UK version of the show). This is almost a continuation of TV series into a full feature similar to “Entourage” recently, with the same characters coming back and more happening. In this film, they catch up with Brent twelve years down the line and apparently he’s “chasing his dream of rock stardom by self-financing a UK tour with his band”. There isn’t much to this first trailer besides Ricky Gervais returning to the usual “Office” set to tease fans. ›››

    The Ones Below Trailer

“You never know your own neighbors…” Fears about your neighbors being psychos turned into a movie, oh how fun. Magnolia Pictures has debuted a new trailer for the thriller The Ones Below, about a new couple expecting their first child that learns something a bit weird is going on with the couple living below them. Clémence Poésy stars, along with a cast including David Morrissey, Stephen Campbell Moore, Laura Birn and Deborah Findlay. This film has been playing at film festivals like TIFF, London and Berlin so it can’t be all that bad, but it doesn’t look like that much to it from this trailer. Take a look below. ›››

First Look: Guillermo del Toro's 'Trollhunters' Movie from DreamWorks

    Trollhunters First Look

From his mind to the big screen. DreamWorks Animation has unveiled the first image from their upcoming project Trollhunters, their latest collaboration with Mexican filmmaker Guillermo del Toro. Del Toro imagined and started developing Trollhunters a few years back, around the time he sold The Strain, the vampire trilogy he wrote with Chuck Hogan. “I wanted very much to develop a story that could be written for kids but dealt with a genre that was scary,” Del Toro initially stated. “It essentially combines fairy tales with modern times and is about how difficult it is to be kid.” This first photo seen below shows two of the main characters from the movie, a sword-wielding human and a big (supposedly friendly) troll. Check it out. ›››
