UPDATE November 18, 2019: Xbox All-Access is now live on Amazon.
While Xbox was unable to take the lead in console sales this generation, there’s no arguing Microsoft has worked hard to make its Xbox services some of the best possible values in gaming right now.
The Xbox All-Access program joins Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate as one of the absolute best values in console gaming, and Microsoft has sweetened the deal with an upgrade option when the next generation Xbox, still known as Project Scarlett, launches next year. Here’s everything you need to know, including where and when you can sign up.

Updated: Our list now includes even more weird Kojima-isms. Check out the bottom of the page for some new additions — keep in mind that we don’t outright spoil plot points, and label some spoilers, but every definition on this is a kind of mini-spoiler if you are going in blind, so watch out!
Despite being on all of our collective radars for more than three years now, with a bunch of trailers and demos flooding our newsfeeds over the past few months, there’s still a lot to take in when it comes to getting a handle on just what the hell is going on in director Hideo Kojima’s latest project.
In order to do our best to help folks make sense of Norman Reedus’s wacky ghost adventure, we put together a handy dictionary for the main wild buzzwords you may need to refer to when playing through one of this year’s most anticipated releases.

One of the biggest questions leading into Death Stranding’s launch was — does Hideo Kojima’s first post-Konami game actually introduce a new genre, as Kojima claimed it would before launch? Now that we’ve had plenty of hands-on time with Death Stranding, we’ve been able to determine firsthand whether the ‘Strand Genre’ really is its own thing. And the answer is: not quite, but the way it evolves certain gameplay ideas are absolutely worth being explored in other games, which is something Kojima called for as well.

This portion of the Luigi’s Mansion 3 guide contains a walkthrough for your first official objectives. After installing the elevator tracker, you’ll need to practice contacting Professor E.Gadd by opening up your menu and connecting to the Professor E.Gadd Hotline. Once that’s done, you’ll have your main objective: recover E. Gadd’s Briefcase.
These objectives will take you through the Basement (B!), Grand Lobby (Floor 1), and part of the Mezzanine (Floor 2). Near the end of this mission, you’ll have to defeat the Maid Boss who has swallowed Professor E.Gadd’s briefcase. After returning to the lab, Professor E.Gadd will give you the gift (and curse) of being able to summon Gooigi.

Ever rounded up a bunch of sheep or pigs or horses into a pen and thought…this feels familiar? How about when you’re in someone’s house for dinner and something feels a little, I don’t know, “off” about what they’re serving? What about when old Doris the NPC who lives across the street can’t find her beloved frying pan?
Here, we’ve rounded up the quest-types that we see over and over again in RPGs, for better or worse (I’m looking at you, “killing rats and spiders”). Tell us your favorites in the comment section below!
There’s a horrible beast in the woods that’s been stealing chickens and… sweet rolls? Or maybe it’s actually bandits and they are kidnapping kids. Either way, that big bad wolf is actually just some guy named Geoff. Or a kid named Jeff. Either way, you better give them a stern talking to. Maybe sometimes a real monster shows up to teach this lesson for you. Examples include: The Witcher 3, Fallout 4, Horizon: Zero Dawn. – Jon Ryan, Senior Editor
