  • Every Far Cry Review

It looks like Ubisoft is about to announce the 11th Far Cry game since the series began 14 years ago, and this one looks to be taking aim at Bethesda’s post-apocalyptic wheelhouse by possibly launching around the same time as Rage 2 (and not long after Fallout 76 cratered). Just like Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon followed Far Cry 3 and Far Cry Primal followed Far Cry 4, this followup is coming hot on the heels of Far Cry 5, which came out only nine months ago. That’s a whole lot of Far Cry in not a lot of time, but based on the series’ mostly consistent quality, that’s hard to complain about.

As you refresh your memory by scrolling through our history of IGN’s Far Cry reviews, let us know which cries stand out in your mind as the farthest.

  • Dragon Age 4 Reportedly Not Being Released Until at Least 2021

Though BioWare has plans to announce something Dragon Age-related this month, it appears the next Dragon Age game is still at least a few years away from being released.

Reported by VentureBeat, sources familiar with BioWare claim that the game is still in the early stages of development, saying that the studio and EA have yet to decide on a name for the upcoming title. However, it appears a final name could be decided on prior to a possible reveal at The Game Awards on Thursday.

The game was reportedly put in stasis as BioWare had allegedly shelved the game momentarily to focus on Anthem. However, official comments from the studio indicate that BioWare actively has teams working on both Dragon Age and Mass Effect games alongside Anthem.

  • Captain Marvel's Skrull Villains Explained

2019’s Captain Marvel movie will include several firsts for the MCU, like being set in the ’90s and featuring a two-eyed Nick Fury. Perhaps the most notable new development, however, is the inclusion of the Skrulls as the main villains of the film. One Avenger against an entire cosmic empire? We like those odds.

Ben Mendelsohn (Rogue One) will play the Skrull leader, Talos, in the highly anticipated Brie Larson film. But who are the Skrulls, and why do they have such a bone to pick with Captain Marvel? Let’s break down everything you need to know about this troublesome group of Marvel aliens. (Also be sure to read about how Marvel Studios can even use the Skrulls, who were long believed to fall under 20th Century Fox’s domain as far as their film rights.)

For players concerned about the potential for progress and stat resets, we currently do not have any plans to reset them as part of the Beta’s rollout. We are currently still working on game stability and economy balancing for an update that we hope to release later this week. Please stay tuned for more news to come.”

Crash Team Racing Remaster Teased for The Game Awards

If a pair of fuzzy dice and a brief note are anything to go off of, it appears CTR: Crash Team Racing is primed for a reveal at The Game Awards.

IGN received a large, orange pair of fuzzy dice (reminiscent of Crash himself) in the mail, along with a note that reads: “Sliding into the Game Awards on 12/6… – Anonymous.” One of the die only has a six on it, while the other has the standard one-six. Combined, it adds up to a six and a 21, perhaps hinting at a Friday, June 21 (6/21) release date.
