You Can Grab The First Devil May Cry For Free Through Twitch Prime Soon

Devil May Cry HD Collection is launching soon on PS4, Xbox One, and PC, and today it got a new trailer. But DMC fans still have something to look forward to before it is released: later this month, you can check out the first Devil May Cry game on PC for free through Twitch Prime.

Capcom announced on its blog recently that all subscribers of Amazon/Twitch Prime can snag the freebie starting on February 27. After claiming it, you’ll be able to download the full game through the Twitch desktop app.

Devil May Cry originally launched back in 2001 for PS2, so some players may find it a bit dated. But it’s still cool to see where the series began, especially if your first exposure to the series was the reboot, DmC: Devil May Cry, which was released in 2013. Previous Twitch Prime free games have sometimes been free for only a few days, so be sure to jump on this promotion when it goes live. It’s free to anyone with a Twitch Prime membership, which comes with an Amazon Prime subscription.

The Devil May Cry HD Collection, meanwhile, launches on March 13 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. It includes remastered versions of the first three games in the series, all of which run at 60 frames per second. You can check out the new trailer for the collection in the embed above.

Black Panther Might Not Get A Game, But He Is Playable In Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2

In the past, it seemed like every superhero movie would have a tie-in game–often of questionable quality. That era seems to be over, as superheroes now frequently have their own game series independent of films, and this week’s Black Panther release will pass without an accompanying game. However, you can play as Black Panther in Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2 starting now.

In addition to Black Panther himself, the DLC includes a bunch more content related to the movie. It comes with six new characters: Black Panther in his Vibranium Suit, Okoye, Nakia, Erik Killmonger, Ulysses Klaue, and Everett K. Ross.

In addition, the DLC pack adds a new level to the game related to the movie. According to a press release, the level takes place in the Kingdom of Wakanda, and “players will take the legendary Wakandan Super Hero and his sister Shuri on a dangerous mission within the darkest depths of their homeland.”

The pack is available today on PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC for $3. It’s also available as a part of the season pass, which costs $15 and comes with several other character packs. As for the film Black Panther, it hits theaters this Friday, February 16. Sea Of Thieves Won't Have Jack Sparrow DLC, Unfortunately

Sea of Thieves is one of the most anticipated games of 2018, and it aims to deliver players an open-world, swashbuckling pirate experience. However, the game will sadly not feature a tie-in to one of the most well-known pirate franchises.

In response to a fan’s question, developer Rare confirmed today that there won’t be Pirates of the Caribbean DLC coming to Sea of Thieves. As a result, you won’t be meeting eccentric captain Jack Sparrow on the high seas in the game.

“We won’t be adding anything specific to other IPs,” Rare wrote on Twitter. “However you can rest assured that you will get a heavy dose of pirate goodness every time you play Sea of Thieves.”

Sea of Thieves launches on March 20 on PC and Xbox One. If you subscribe to Xbox Game Pass, Sea of Thieves will be available as part of the program as soon as it launches. New Xbox One X and S Deals Coming Up Soon

If you’re in the market for an Xbox One, there are a couple of good deals coming soon. Microsoft is discounting the Xbox One S, and it’s also bringing back the deal that threw in a copy of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds with the purchase of an Xbox One X.

In the United States, starting on February 18, you can grab any Xbox One S bundle for $50 off. This includes the new 1 TB PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds bundle that was recently released, bringing the cost down to $250 (originally $300). This deal runs through March 3. If you’re in Canada, meanwhile, you can buy a 1 TB Xbox One S bundle for $60 CAD off from now until February 23.

If you would rather get the more powerful Xbox One X, you can get a free copy of PUBG with the console beginning on February 18 in the United States, Canada, Ireland, the United Kingdom, and Latin America. The deal starts on February 20 in Australia, India, Korea, New Zealand, Singapore, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

This isn’t the only Xbox One X deal going on at other retailers right now. At Walmart, you can grab the console and Destiny 2, Star Wars: Battlefront II, and Grand Theft Auto V for $500. I confess I am a huge EDM fan and have been listening for many years. This doc attempts to be a definitive look at the scene and the music and the people behind it all. The documentary features heavy-weight electronic dance music artists, including the infamous young new DJ, Martin Garrix, the legendary Carl Cox, as well as appearances by Erick Morillo, Moby, David Guetta, Afrojack, Paul Oakenfold, Seth Troxler, and DJ Tiesto. There are multiple cameos from musical superstars, including Usher and Ed Sheeran, who help exemplify the power and reach that electronic dance music has over mainstream music genres. The film stars Michelle Pfeiffer as the titular Kyra, a Brooklyn woman who loses her job and struggles to survive on her ailing mother’s income. As the weeks and months go on, her problems worsen. This leads her on a risky and enigmatic path that threatens her life. The cast includes Kiefer Sutherland, Suzanne Shepherd, and Sam Robards. This is directed by Andrew Dosunmu and features cinematography by the Academy Award-nominated Bradford Young, and music composed by Philip Young. It seems like a very heavy, very artsy film about how hard it is to stay afloat in today’s brutal society. ›››

Review: Ryan Coogler's 'Black Panther' is Gorgeous, Engaging, and Culturally Significant

Originally co-created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby and published by Marvel Comics, Black Panther made his first appearance in 1966’s Fantastic Four #52. The first superhero of African descent in mainstream American comics, Black Panther debuted years before early black superheroes such as the Falcon (1969), John Stewart’s Green Lantern (1971), Luke Cage (1972), and Blade (1973). Crossing racial and cultural lines, Black Panther has continued to resonate with readers over the years, spawning multiple publications, and appearing in numerous video games and animated series. It wasn’t until 2016, however, that the iconic hero made his big screen debut. Burt Reynolds is 'The Last Movie Star' in Official Trailer for A24 Drama

“You are the only one stupid enough to show up…” Brutally honest line. A24 has debuted an official trailer for an indie drama titled The Last Movie Star, from writer/director Adam Rifkin. The film stars acting legend Burt Reynolds as acting legend Vic Edwards, an aging movie star who no longer has the same fame he once had. He’s invited to a tiny, two-bit film festival in Nashville, and befriends his driver, who reminds him there’s more to life than just being famous. The full cast includes Ariel Winter, Clark Duke, Ellar Coltrane, Nikki Blonsky, Kathleen Nolan, as well as Chevy Chase. This premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival, but like most Tribeca films, we’ve never heard of it before now. I’d rather recommend watching The Hero with Sam Elliott instead, both pretty much have the same plot, though The Hero is actually quite good. ›››

Epic Final IMAX Trailer for Steven S. DeKnight's 'Pacific Rim: Uprising'

“That’s what I’m talking about!” Nothing can prepare you for how much CGI this trailer has! Universal has released a final IMAX exclusive trailer for the sci-fi sequel Pacific Rim: Uprising, the action packed kaiju vs giant robots movie. Guillermo del Toro produced and help write the story, Steven S. DeKnight (of TV work) is directing. This sequel picks up after the first movie, following John Boyega as Jake Pentecost, the son of Idris Elba’s character Stacker Pentecost. The movie’s ensemble cast includes Adria Arjona, Scott Eastwood, Tian Jing, Charlie Day, Burn Gorman, Rinko Kikuchi, Dustin Clare, Levi Meaden, Daniel Feuerriegel, Karan Brar, and Jin Zhang. This trailer is packed with some crazy epic footage of the kaiju vs robots battles, but I’m honestly not that excited to see it. A bit too much CGI. What about you? ›››
