In recent years, we’ve seen a gradual shift towards digital software sales, but the coronavirus crisis is likely to have pushed any potential fence-sitters over the edge. As such, we’d expect a huge proportion of Final Fantasy VII Remake’s sales to have come courtesy of the PlayStation Store. This makes the 60,000 or so physical copies sold in the UK over the past couple days all the more impressive.
