NieR’s 10th Anniversary Website Sets Tongues Wagging

So NieR, so far.

NieR: Automata was one heckuva ride, wasn’t it? The zany Platinum Games developed action RPG really captured the imagination, with its bizarre gameplay twists and stunning audiovisual presentation. There’s always been hope that publisher Square Enix would commission a third title in the series – especially after stronger than expected sales of the second game – but nothing’s come to fruition yet.

However, a new website dedicated to celebrating the 10th anniversary of the series has set tongues wagging. So far the page only includes confirmation of a couple of concerts, which are scheduled to take place in Tokyo and Osaka next year. However, there’s hope that the page may culminate in some kind of sequel announcement – especially as we near a decade since the launch of the original NieR title on the PlayStation 3. Fingers crossed.
