“Secrets, sorrows, rancour…” The first official trailer has debuted online for the latest Xavier Dolan film, titled It’s Only the End of the World, which premiered at the Cannes Film Festival this year. The film is based on a play and takes place mostly inside one home. Gaspard Ulliel stars as a man who returns to his childhood home with plans to tell his family about his upcoming death, but his return reignites tensions between everyone again. The full cast includes Nathalie Baye, Vincent Cassel, Marion Cotillard and Léa Seydoux. I’m a huge fan of Xavier Dolan, but I admit this might be my least favorite film he’s made.
