First Trailer for Period Romance 'Tulip Fever' Starring Alicia Vikander

“I’ll tell your husband what you’ve been up to!” The Weinstein Company has debuted a trailer for the period romance Tulip Fever, based on the book of the same name. Dane DeHaan plays Jan Van Loos, an artist hired to paint a portrait of a married woman and her husband during the tulip mania of 17th century Amsterdam. Alicia Vikander plays his love interest, Sophia. The full cast has quite a few major names: Christoph Waltz, Holliday Grainger, Jack O’Connell, Zach Galifianakis, Dame Judi Dench, Matthew Morrison, Tom Hollander and Cara Delevingne. This trailer is packed with vintage sets, big beards, elaborate costumes and much more, but I’m not sure the story is really that interesting. Take a look. ›››
