It’s time for another epic where a slave has to take down the Roman empire a notch by getting revenge on someone who betrayed them. Ben-Hur is a new adaptation of the classic novel by Lew Wallace about two brothers who take their rivalry into the arena of chariot-racing. Judah Ben-Hur (Jack Huston) was meant to be a prince, but his brother Messala (Toby Kebbell) betrayed him by accusing Judah of treason. After a bout with slavery, Judah is back, but now the only way to really get vengeance is to take him down in a chariot race so Rome’s best can see him stripped of his glory.
