“You have to hear it to believe it!” The first teaser trailer has debuted online for Stephen Frears’ next film, Florence Foster Jenkins, following his work on The Program (watch the latest trailer for that here). In this film, Meryl Streep plays Florence Foster Jenkins, a New York heiress who dreamed of becoming an opera singer despite having a terrible singing voice. Hugh Grant also stars, and the cast includes Rebecca Ferguson, John Kavanagh, Simon Helberg, and plenty others. Florence Foster Jenkins is already a popular person, as her can’t-really-sing story is similar to the one in the film Marguerite.
