“What goes up, must come… down.” 20th Century Fox has released a very epic new TV spot for the Super Bowl for Roland Emmerich’s Independence Day: Resurgence, the return of the Independence Day story. With only 30 seconds to spare, this spot focuses mostly on epic destruction of various cities and the arrival of whatever massive back-up destroyer the aliens have sent this time. The main cast features: Jeff Goldblum back as David Levinson, Jessie Usher as Dylan Hiller, Liam Hemsworth as Jake Morrison; plus there’s a glimpse of Bill Pullman as President Whitmore. In terms of the “holy sh*t” factor and grabbing our attention, this spot is one of the winners. This looks crazy fun, I’m definitely hooked I’ll admit. ›››
