“Did you ever think you would be free?” After premiering at the Venice and Telluride Film Festivals to quite a bit of buzz, A24 has debuted the new full-length trailer for Room, from the filmmaker who gave us Frank. Brie Larson stars as “Ma”, with Jacob Tremblay as her son, in a story of escape captivity that explores the boundless love between mother and child. The cast includes Joan Allen and William H. Macy. I saw the film myself at the Telluride Film Festival, and why I liked the first half, it overstayed its welcome by about 40 minutes.
