“Why are people trying to stab you?!” Lionsgate has debuted another new trailer for American Ultra, the crazy stoner action comedy from director Nima Nourizadeh and screenwriter Max Landis. The movie stars Jesse Eisenberg and Kristen Stewart as a lazy stoner couple who get caught up in some crazy shit when it turns out Eisenberg is actually a secret government agent, kind of like Jason Bourne on marijuana. This footage has some appearances by Topher Grace and John Leguizamo in supporting roles. While the original red band footage looked much better, I’m still very much excited to see this – the perfect kind of wacky all-out-crazy action comedy to end the summer.
