Ex 'Thor 2' Director Patty Jenkins to Helm 'Wonder Woman' Now

Earlier this week, we learned that director Michelle MacLaren was parting ways with Warner Bros., and wouldn’t be directing the first big screen adaptation of the DC Comics superheroine Wonder Woman. But the studio seems to have recovered quickly as THR reports Patty Jenkins will sit in the director’s chair instead. If that name sounds familiar, it’s because she was previously slated to direct Thor: The Dark World for Marvel Studios, but they had a falling out, and “Game of Thrones” helmer Alan Taylor took the job instead.
