Even though we’re all getting pumped about the summer movie season, in the coming months, we’ll start to get a first look at the films that will arrive in theaters this fall. One of those films is Suffragette, the period drama from Brick Lane director Sarah Gavron that sees Carey Mulligan as part of the early feminist movement to get the right to vote. The film also features Helena Bonham Carter and Meryl Streep, and a teaser trailer has just surfaced online to tie in with the real life “Voting Matters” campaign for the next major election in the United Kingdom.
