“It’s feeding on her soul. If we don’t hurry, it’s going to get her.” This summer brings us the origin of evil in the horror prequel Insidious: Chapter 3. While the latest US trailer didn’t really go out of its way to mention The Further, this one directly references the spiritual plane. This time a widowed father (Dermot Mulroney) and his daughter (Stefanie Scott find their lies terrorized by the dead. I’m interested to see how this ties back into the first two chapters of the franchise beyond the paranormal expert characters (Lin Shaye, Angus Sampson and Leigh Whannel) involved.
