We’ve known for awhile that more Transformers sequels were on the way, especially since Mark Wahlberg is signed for multiple movies, and Transformers: Age of Extinction was meant to be the start of a new trilogy. But now it sounds like Paramount may have even grander plans for the toy-based franchise. Deadline reveals that the studio is in talks with Akiva Goldsman to shepherd a multi-part sequel to continue the Transformers franchise, as well as potential spin-offs based on Hasbro’s toyline.
