A remake of the 1954 musical A Star is Born (which itself was a remake of the 1937 film of the same name) has been percolating since 2011. Last we heard, Clint Eastwood was going to direct the film and Beyonce was still attached to the female lead role in the project situated at Warner Bros. Pictures. But back in 2011, the chart-topping singer got pregnant, and that delayed the film for the time being. But it’s been years since that happened, so it’s time to get the project back on track. However, it looks like the director will actually be Eastwood’s recent American Sniper star Bradley Cooper, aiming to make his debut behind the camera. ›››
