Egyptian Hosting 'Tron' + 'The Black Hole' Event in Honor of Jay West

“The word ‘impossible‘, Mr. Booth, is only found in the dictionary of fools.” A few weeks back my friend Jay West, a fellow movie geek and a contributor to this site (and many others), suddenly passed away. I miss him already… He was the first person I wanted to speak to the moment the news broke that Tron 3 might be shooting this year. Jay was one of the biggest fans of the Alien universe, with life-size sculptures in his home and collectibles of all kinds, but two of his other favorite movies were Tron (the original!) and The Black Hole, Disney’s fantastic 1979 space thriller. So, in honor of Jay, the world famous Egyptian Theatre in Los Angeles is hosting a special screening of both Tron and The Black Hole back-to-back with special guests.
