Right around the time that I started writing here at FirstShowing in 2009, there was a project called Motorcade in the works. At the time, Ryan Reynolds had just been brought in to replace Tom Cruise in the project, and “24” executive producer Jon Cassar was replacing Len Wiseman in the director’s chair. But it’s been over five years since that news surfaced, and the project has been dead in the water. But today it has new life as Deadline reports DreamWorks is bringing in Smokin’ Aces, The Grey and The A-Team director Joe Carnahan to get the project in gear and finally get it into production.
