Juggernaut, Dr. Doom and Spider-Man all show up in this deeper glimpse at the Marvel Comics fighting game that was cancelled by EA years ago. Again, it’s a glimpse of a rough prototype but shows some of the features that the dev studio was aiming for.

Oftentimes when a new champion comes into League of Legends, the game’s many players feels he or she is overpowered. Since the time-bending assassin Ekko warped his way into the game last week, I’ve seen a more particular criticism from his naysayers: that he’s “overloaded.”

In 2011, a guy using the handle Cosbydaf wrote a story on the web about a Godzilla game he decided to revisit when he was a kid. It was a creepypasta—in other words, an internet tall tale intended to scare the hell out of anyone reading it.

Are we going to see a third Dark Souls game at E3? Though nothing’s official yet, there are enough rumors floating around to make it seem like a real possibility.

“You think anyone ever wins at this game?” StudioCanal has premiered a new UK trailer for Diao Yinan’s Black Coal, Thin Ice, the film that won the top prize – the Golden Bear – at the Berlin Film Festival in 2014, the same year as Boyhood. It has taken a year to show up in the UK and still doesn’t even have a US release yet. The mystery involves an ex-cop who tries to solve a gruesome murder on his own, that ends up falling for the woman at the center of the case. But of course, who wouldn’t fall for her? The cast includes Liao Fan, Gwei Lun Mei and Wang Xuebing. This is an interesting trailer with a few very intensely shocking moments in it, but they’ve certainly grabbed my attention. I’m interested in checking out the film. ›››

We’re still curious to see how Nicolas Winding Refn’s The Neon Demon turns out (see the first look photos here), but there’s already early details trickling out about his next film. Our friend Steve from Collider was recently talking with Nicolas Winding Refn during an interview for The Neon Demon and asked him about projects coming up. Refn revealed that he’s looking at making a spy movie called The Avenging Silence next, and that it might be set in Tokyo, which we’ve heard before. It turns out this may be the same film he talked about in 2013, a sort-of sequel to 2009’s Valhalla Rising taking that character to Tokyo. ›››

In the shadow of war, one man showed the world what we stand for. And that is? We’ll find out in October, I suppose. Disney has debuted the first official poster for Steven Spielberg’s latest film Bridge of Spies, starring Tom Hanks as an undercover CIA agent during the Cold War. It’s a very basic, very stark poster, with Tom Hanks’ face front and center flanked by the American flag and Soviet symbol. Yes, he’s stuck in the middle, we get it. That’s all there is though, no other context or imagery. Kind of weird. Anyway, I hope this means we’ll see a trailer soon because the footage for this better be a heck of a lot better than the poster. ›››

“There’s gotta be an explanation…” Yes! Get a look at one of my favorite sci-fi features from Sundance this year. The first trailer for Z for Zachariah has debuted, the next film from Compliance director Craig Zobel, adapted from an old sci-fi novel by Robert C. O’Brien. Margot Robbie stars, playing one of the only survivors in a post-apocalyptic world, existing day-by-day in a valley untouched by radiation. One day she comes across Loomis, played by Chiwetel Ejiofor. Months later they come across Caleb, played by Chris Pine. This trailer does show quite a bit, so if you want to go into this fresh better not watch. But I really love this film and how many layers there are to it, so I say watch anyway. Just make sure you get a ticket to see it. ›››

“People ask me: why do you risk death? For me, this is life.” Sony Pictures has revealed the “global trailer” for Robert Zemeckis’ The Walk, starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt as Philippe Petit, the man who strung a tight rope between the Two Towers and walked across it. If you’ve seen James Marsh’s Man on Wire then you know the story already, but they expand upon it so much more here, giving us an extensive look at Petit and his trip to America and dream to do the impossible. Charlotte Le Bon (seen in The Hundred-Foot Journey) stars as his girlfriend, and the cast includes Ben Kingsley and James Badge Dale. This looks amazing, seriously, some of the shots in this and the way it floats around him, all his emotions, I’m so in. ›››
