Of all the big PC games people are playing at the moment, the one that needs a mod like this the least is probably Cities: Skylines. But then, that’s also why it needs it the most.

Briefly: Last fall brought us our first look at the long-gestating adaptation of Pride & Prejudice & Zombies, based on Seth Grahame-Smith’s period romance novel remix of the same name. In the story, a zombie apocalypse has been ongoing for 70 years, and the Bennet sisters, Lydia (Ellie Bamber), Jane (Bella Heathcote), Elizabeth (Lily James), Mary (Millie Brady), and Kitty (Suki Waterhouse) are finally sick of it and ready to take on the undead. Now the film from Burr Steers (17 Again) has been given a release date of February 19th, 2016 from Screen Gems. It’s not the best release date, but not entirely unexpected. Sam Riley and Jack Huston also star in the film, and we’ll see if people show up next year. ›››

If you’ve been skeptical about Warner Bros. Pictures’ reboot of the classic comedy Vacation, this news might change your tune. The studio is placing a lot of confidence in the comedy starring Ed Helms, Christina Applegate, Leslie Mann and Chris Hemsworth because THR reports they’ve just bumped up the film from its original release date in October to a much better opening on July 31st this summer instead. That should make for some decent counter programming for anyone who isn’t interested in Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation, which was also bumped up from its original Christmas Day release. ›››

“Bring one of your cats as a sidekick.” After debuting at the SXSW Film Festival earlier this month, a second trailer for Paul Feig’s latest comedy, Spy, has just come online. Melissa McCarthy is in the lead role, and while the first trailer had me on the fence, I’m starting to warm up to this one a little bit. There’s still some goofy, slapstick comedy, and McCarthy is still being crass and rough around the edges, but here’s some good lines here. At the very least, this will bring some laughs because it looks like Jason Statham is going to steal the movie. And if you want to see the movie early, there are some surprise, free advanced screenings around the United States that are happening tonight Find out more right here. Watch below! ›››

“Brace your boobies.” There’s plenty of slick heists, from Ocean’s Eleven to Inside Man, but the story at the heart of Masterminds doesn’t seem to be one of them. In the action comedy from Jared Hess (Napoleon Dynamite), a robbery is planned by a ragtag team of dimwits including Zach Galifianakis, Kristen Wiig and Owen Wilson, and somehow they get away with it. But that’s just where the chaos seems to begin. It’s hard to tell what’s going on in this chaotic teaser trailer for the comedy, but Jason Sudeikis already seems like he will be the high point of this flick, with the low point being that terrible wig Galifianakis is wearing. ›››

Earlier this month, Jurassic World director Colin Trevorrow landed a new project at DreamWorks with Intelligent Life, an original sci-fi project that was birthed out of a previously developed concept known as The Ambassador. However, it sounds like that won’t be the director’s next immediate project as Deadline reports Sidney Kimmel Entertainment has hired Trevorrow to be at the helm of Book of Henry, an original screenplay written by novelist Gregg Hurwitz. Unfortunately, no plot details are available at this time, but the project is hoping to start production in New York in this fall and Trevorrow is pretty excited. ›››

Hot on the heels of the success of Cinderella, it’s time for the House of Mouse to turn another one of their animated hits into a live-action film. THR reports Disney is now developing a live-action retelling of Mulan, the Chinese legend about a female warrior who disguises herself as a man in order to go to war in place of her father. Writing duo Elizabeth Martin and Lauren Hynek (in their first feature film deal) have been hired to script the first pass at the project, but there will likely be a rewrite by another more established scribe before it goes in front of cameras. It’s great that they brought female writers on to start. ›››
