Obviously having a robot like that of our own isn’t all the viable of a prospect right now, but it would be nice if Warner Bros. commissioned an action figure of TARS for us to put on our shelves. However, one man decided that he didn’t just want a TARS of his own but he wanted to become TARS. So he created this functional costume that allows him to walk around like the boxy robot did in Interstellar, and the result is pretty astounding. ›››

All the Sequels in '22 Jump Street' End Credits Will Be Made Canon
If you’ve seen 22 Jump Street, then you already know that the end credits sequence from the action comedy starring Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill is one of the best ever. Why? Because it runs the gamut of a whole bunch of sequels to follow, taking Schmidt and Jenko to every possible kind of school you can imagine. Of course, the joke was tainted a bit when Sony Pictures began real development on 23 Jump Street. But the dynamic filmmaking duo of Phil Lord & Chris Miller (who also have the TV series “Last Man on Earth” on Fox now) have figured out a way to make all those sequels canon in the film franchise. ›››

Rooney Mara Joins Nicole Kidman & Dev Patel in Survival Drama 'Lion'
Even though we’re probably not going to see a sequel to the American adaptation of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, that doesn’t mean we won’t be seeing plenty of Rooney Mara. The actress stars in this summer’s classic fairytale adaptation Pan, and now THR reports the actress has joined the cast of an Indian survival drama called Lion, which has already been picked up for distribution by The Weinstein Company. The film has Nicole Kidman and Dev Patel (Slumdog Millionaire) on board, and justadded The Two Towers star David Wenham with production recently finishing in India and moving to Australia soon. ›››

Since leaving the Transformers franchise, Shia La Beouf has made some interesting choices. No, we’re not talking about his tabloid headline making behavior (although that is somewhat concerning), but rather the kind of films he’s been making. His projects have ranged from the prohibition era thriller Lawless to the stylish Charlie Countryman, not to mention a revealing role in Nymphomaniac and the war drama Fury, and, of course, a peculiar turn in Sia’s music video for “Elastic Heart.” Now LaBeouf is looking to work with Fish Tank director Andrea Arnold for her first film in the US, appropriately called American Honey. ›››

'Guardians of the Galaxy 2' Begins Shooting in the US February 2016
Unfortunately, the release of Guardians of the Galaxy 2 is still over two years away with Marvel Studios set to put the film in theaters on May 5th, 2017. And therefore, it’ll still be awhile before the sequel to last year’s satisfying sci-fi adventure goes in front of cameras. But the good news is that we at least know when the film will begin production. Speaking with Periscope (via Superhero Hype), director James Gunn revealed that the sequel will star filming in February of 2016 in Pinewood Studios in Atlanta Georgia (so not the same Pinewood Studios that Star Wars: The Force Awakens shot in last year).
