Late last year, EA confirmed that its exclusive deal with Porsche had expired after 16 years (via Polygon), paving the way for other games to feature Porsche cars. Today, Sony announced that Porsches will be in the upcoming PlayStation 4 racing game Gran Turismo Sport. This announcement came in a tweet (via IGN).
Some new tracks were also announced today; you can see them in the tweet below.

In other news, Sony and developer Polyphony Digital are now looking for GT Sport beta testers. If you live in the United States, you can sign up right here for a chance to play the game’s beta. If you are selected, you will be notified via email with instructions on how to download and play the beta.
GT Sport promises to be the most ambitious game in the racing series, featuring two-year-long championships that players will be able to race in. Those will end with a ceremony where winners celebrate alongside real-world racing champions. The game will be exclusive to PlayStation 4 and is being developed to support PlayStation VR.
