Rise of Iron, Destiny‘s newest expansion, is available now, but you might have some trouble actually playing it as the game is currently experiencing network issues due to the number of players trying to connect to servers.
In a Twitter post, developer Bungie acknowledged the ongoing issues and said it is looking into addressing them.
“We are actively investigating issues preventing players from connecting to Destiny on all platforms,” it said.
In the mean time, players have reported that the game now displays a message saying servers are “temporarily at capacity.” Those trying to connect are also being placed in queues to join the game.
Rise of Iron is Destiny’s fourth expansion, following The Dark Below (December 2014), House of Wolves (May 2015), and The Taken King (September 2015). It introduces a new snow-covered region called The Plaguelands, as well as fresh campaign and multiplayer content.
Destiny: Rise of Iron is available exclusively for PS4 and Xbox One; it can be downloaded either standalone for $30 or purchased as a part of a $60 collection containing the expansion and all previous expansions that came before it.
