More Chariot Race Action in Quick New Trailer for 'Ben-Hur' Remake

“Give them a shame they will understand… To start a revolution to free us all.” Paramount Pictures has unveiled one more 60-sec trailer (see the last trailer + a featurette) for the upcoming remake of Ben-Hur, directed by Timur Bekmambetov, starring Jack Huston as the new Judah Ben-Hur. The full cast includes Nazanin Boniadi, Ayelet Zurer, Sofia Black-D’Elia, Haluk Bilginer, Pilou Asbæk, Marwan Kenzari, Rodrigo Santoro, Moises Arias, Toby Kebbell and Morgan Freeman. The more I see from this, the more I don’t like it – such an unnecessary and CGI-bloated remake, yet they’re really pushing it like it’s this fantastic movie that we should all be excited for. Come on! There are some cool aspects – Freeman with dreads, Kebbell being a badass, Huston in a lead role – but the rest of it just looks so bad. Not for me. ›››
