The first trailer has debuted for the new film from Korean director Kim Ji-woon, who most recently made the action film The Last Stand featuring Arnold Schwarzenegger (though the rest of his filmography is much better). His latest film is a thriller titled The Age of Shadows and is set during the 1920s in Korea, telling a story about the Heroic Corps, an anti-Japanese independence organization that fought back against the Japanese occupation of Korea. The cast features Song Kang-ho, Gong Yoo, and Han Ji-min. This first trailer does have English subtitles, but it also highlights the stunning set design and sleek cinematography, which is standard for Kim Ji-woon’s films.
