Empire has unveiled this first UK teaser trailer for Jeremy Saulnier’s Green Room, the latest from the filmmaker behind the cult hit Blue Ruin. In this film, Anton Yelchin and Imogen Poots are part of a young rock band that find themselves trapped in a secluded venue, fighting for their lives against a gang of white power skinheads, one of them played by Patrick Stewart. Also starring Alia Shawkat, Mark Webber, Callum Turner, Macon Blair. I’m very excited to see it myself. We posted two reviews from festivals last year, with Jeremy (from Fantastic Fest) calling it “as smart as it is thrilling, just as rough as it is comical” but still “brutally violent”.
