“Stay down! If I wanted it, you’d be dead already.” Warner Bros in Japan has released a new 30-second TV spot for the upcoming Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, which the announcer just calls “Batman v Superman”. It features mostly footage we’ve seen before, but no shots or mention of Wonder Woman at all, almost entirely footage of Batman (Ben Affleck) and Superman (Henry Cavill) fighting, and yelling at each other. This is definitely their marketing angle for Japan, whereas in the US it seems to be more about the “Dawn of Justice” side, and all the heroes we’re going to meet.
