I promised him I would get it back to him.” STX Entertainment has debuted the first trailer for a film called Desierto, directed by Alfonso Cuarón’s son Jonás Cuarón. The thriller set on the US-Mexican border stars Gael García Bernal as a man trying to make it back safely. Jeffrey Dean Morgan stars as an angry border patrol agent out to hunt him down. We already ran a review of this film from the London Film Festival, saying that it “builds the tension and drama with great care and precision, never lulling or feeling over-long” with great “depth” in the lead performances.
