“You’ve seen our family – do you think there is something wrong with the way we live?” Roadshow Films has debuted a trailer for Simon Stone’s The Daughter, a dramatic familial thriller. Geoffrey Rush stars along with Paul Schneider in a story about a family and secrets from the past. It’s set in a run-down New South Wales town, but it looks like it has some great imagery in it anyway. Also starring Miranda Otto, Anna Torv, Sam Neill, and Odessa Young. This starts out seeming fairly basic, but by the end it really ramps into being a full-on thriller, kind of reminiscent of The Girl with a Dragon Tattoo a bit. Take a look. ›››
