Meet Callum Lynch. Fox has unveiled the first photo of Michael Fassbender playing the lead character in an Assassin’s Creed movie. We’ve been covering this one for years, as they’ve been developing it for a long long time ever since the Assassin’s Creed game series became a huge hit. Lynch is actually a new character created for the film, and they’re telling a story that isn’t from any of the games. “After gaining incredible knowledge and skills he’s poised to take on the oppressive Knights Templar in the present day.” Marion Cotillard, Michael Kenneth Williams and Ariane Labed also star, but are not pictured yet.
