“Agu, go on! Agu!” Netflix has debuted the first teaser trailer for Cary Fukunaga’s Beasts of No Nation, the latest feature from a talented filmmaker. When civil war tears his family apart, a young West African boy is forced to join a unit of mercenary fighters and transform into a child soldier. The film stars Abraham Attah as Agu, the boy, along with Idris Elba as Commandant in a powerful role. The film looks brutal, and tough, but still beautiful like all of the films Fukunaga has made so far. I’m very intrigued to see how this plays out. If the film is as good as it looks, then Netflix is going to ruffle some feathers when they release it. ›››
