“Sounds have soul… build them from scratch, find new ones.” Warner Bros has debuted the first full trailer for We Are Your Friends, starring Zac Efron as a budding DJ/producer in the Electronic Dance Music (commonly referred to as “EDM”) scene in Los Angeles. Don’t throw this one out just yet. But I will say… This looks like Hollywood already remade the French house music film Eden (see the trailer for that film here), and turned into something a bit more Hollywood, with more spectacle and sleaze all around. This doesn’t look bad, and each has their own quirks, just an interesting observation. The cast includes Emily Ratajkowski, Wes Bentley, Shiloh Fernandez and Jon Bernthal.
